MESO "Specialized" Testing Group Fund

Not directly related to the current discourse, but I’m the one with the 10-year-old Tren E GSO vial. It seems Readalot has gone on hiatus, so I haven’t been able to reach him. He had shown interest in testing it, but from what I can tell the tren color test has either ended or been abandoned. At this point, I’ve decided to just go ahead and throw it out.

Just wanted to pop in and give an update.

its none of my business so i dont wanna answer questions, but readalot is gonna delete his account here like he did on sst.

just toss the vial or keep it to show your kids in 20 years. but going forward @Sampei has the money and that will probably make him responsible for the tests
Understood. Thank you for the clarification.

I am saddened to hear that he will delete his account here too. I didn't always agree with his methods or the way he came across at times (other members were guilty as well). But, his knowledge was respected and will be missed.

Did you already toss it?

If not, keep it

It can't be too of much an issue with storage space, and may be of value in future testing ideas

It's a pity but it is what it is.
He has made a difference in getting vendors to improve their standards one way or another.

P.S. I'm just messing around... hopefully Readalot makes a return again some day but sounds like some know more than others.

tbh hope the dude got a girlfriend (or at least a job)

some things in life are more important than making a mark on anon steroid forums

All I will say here (on the off chance that he’s reading this) is that deleting his account will just make it very difficult for others to find & view his posts, which is a shame.

If he no longer wishes to participate on Meso, all he needs to do is just not visit the forum.

You are correct sir, his posts will remain, but his name will not be able to be easily searched. There is no deleting of posts unless Millard chooses to do so.

its quite literally a byproduct of testosterone from oxidation(poor storage of raws or poor synthesis)
"Oxidation" in storage != "add a new double bond."

The "weak spot" on Testosterone is the allylic positions (C6/ C7, next to the double bond)

Passive oxidation (autooxidation) generally adds oxygen at C-6
(6-OH, 6-OOH, 6-oxo)...

It does not remove two specific hydrogens to make C6=C7.

Delta-6 is a dehydrogenation product, not an autoxidation result.
You need a strong oxidant (or enzymes).

So this is without a hair of a doubt a manufacturing issue.

One is that the temperature used during GCMS oxidized the 6 position carbon (a spot that is quite sensitive) of ~10% of the testosterone, causing a delta 4,6
Yes, GC/MS injector port temp could theoretically cause this like you mention, but my gut says thermal decomp wouldn't proceed that rapidly

You see this same issue with the episulfide ring in Epistane when doing GC/MS
