How long does it take for Carpal Tunnel to heal from HGH use?

I was taking 4iu ED, split into 2iu after waking and 2iu before bed, (I didn't taper up, which most likely causes the problem) and after about a month I started having carpal tunnel symptoms. Felt like nerve pain in hands, but all the way up to my armpits. Mainly when I'm sit down leaning back or laying down sleeping.

I stopped taking the HGH 3 days after I initially noticed symptoms and it's been about a week now since then but it's still not gone away.

Anyone else has the same issue and have an idea of how long it could take to disappear? Also if there's anything else I could do on top to speed it up that'd be great.

If it was due to swelling from water retention, another week will do it.

If you were just on the edge of developing it, and some rHGH induced soft tissue growth pushed you over the edge, it won't.

It takes 2-3 weeks to clear up, if its its from localized fluid retention. You can potentially consider adding a mild diuretic to help speed the process but at this point its probably not necessary.

Okay, thanks for the information. I'm pretty sure it's just water retention as my fingers are definitely thicker than they were when I started as I had to order a wedding ring a size or two bigger because I could barely take my current one off.

Ill give it a couple more weeks and when I start again, I'll properly ramp up this time, start at half the dose for a few weeks and then ramp up a little week by week.

Is there anything I can do to prevent the GH causing this in the future or is it just a case of it just happens and I just need to take less if I don't want to deal with it?

Typically if you remain on a stable dose long enough equilibrium returns and water retention returns to normal.

Hmm, so do you believe , that even on higher doses if you're on for long enough it will "fix itself"?What would be a Time for that?

If it hasn't subsided to something tolerable within 6-8 weeks it likely won't without a dose adjustment.

I just made a post actually.. it started only today and it was easily tolerable, just a little tingling sensation, have a feeling it's going to get stronger.
Thank you very much for the answer though, going to have that in mind.

I've been wondering the same thing. Started at 2iu, after 2 weeks went to three and would wake up with my entire arm painfully numb, Hands super tight. It would last into the day and was impacting grip strength in the gym.

I completely cut out the GH, I think it has been a month and even today my hands in the morning are very tight feeling like an old man. Hoping it goes away. The experience has definitely turned me off to GH for now.

At 4iu I'd have early morning carpal bad enough I couldn't move one finger and thumb. A few minutes after getting up it'd resolve. After 2 months it greatly lessened. I inject in AM Fwiw.

But no matter how long you have been running the hgh at a certain dose, you will probably lose a few pounds of water if you discontinue for a few weeks, correct?

Short term, a few months, yes. Long term maybe not. The edema is caused by a sodium potassium imbalance that occurs because rHGH boosts eGFR, the kidney filtration rate. Eventually that mineral imbalance will equalize if you're on the same dose long enough.

Sorry to through chatGPT at you, but it says GH specifically stresses kidneys by increasing filter rate / internal pressure and it's the worst offender out of any PED. Truth to that? And if so, what drugs might be the cure? Ciln CBB?

It's an issue with long term use, esp of high doses. It's insidious because it makes your kidney markers look healthier for a while.

Ciln relaxes both sides of kidney filtration tubules so they don't stretch and scar, so yes, It's protective and a good long term precaution. Telm helps lower pressure too.

I've watched my eGFR climb with rHGH dose.
