I need all my vials replaced my fear has been mongered I’ve been blowing spit bubbles and hissing at people all morning

When you pop the stopper off, give it a good sniff.

Liberated butyl rubber oligomers smell Iike a brand-new inflatable pool toy, rubber garden hose, that strong “new plastic-rubber” smell, then add a faint hint of antiseptic medicine cabinet, like Band-Aid.

By the way, it’s not the BA or BB that’s responsible for leaching this out of raw bromobutyl and chlorobutyl, it’s oil.

Raw rubber stoppers are Type I, suitable for water based injectable drugs, oil based injectables are supposed to use Type II, either coated or special formulations designed not to release oligomers.

Under the accelerated extraction conditions, extractables from oil-based vehicle tests were appreciably higher than those from aqueous vehicles.”

Not stirring shit-

Just contributing something that might be helpful

I noticed that the stopper on my Cyp 200 gso that was bulging does not look like the stopper pictured in the link from the quoted post. It has 2 raised rings

An assortment of stoppers seem to be in play and they don't match the ones mentioned on the medlabsupply website.

Hopefully any bloated vials are tossed out and not just swapped with new crimps and stoppers.

Most of my stash is from primal. I’ll check them all when I get home.

As for the syringe filters, going to place an order for these unless someone has a better option.

Is it PVDF or PES that we use to filter oils?

I have no clue here, but maybe just a generic picture.

Every stopper I’ve seen posted, mine included, all have the double rings.

Does anyone here have vials with the actual stoppers pictured?

Tisch scientific PTFE syringe filter. .22 sterile individually wrapped.

PTFE for oils.
PVDF/PES for peptides.

If you order from Cobetter and its not from the US warehouse you get slapped with a 50usd tax at customs.
Thank you! I have PES from cobetter, now I need to order some for oils. I've always been told if you have to filter your domestic oils, then its time to find a better source. All this stopper talk is making me rethink....

Knuckle draggers dressing up carelessness as virtue.

Things can go wrong with any source, no matter how careful they are, they don’t have Pharma level safeguards in place. Even pharma has disasters on a regular basis. This reduces risk under all circumstances.

Definitely. Cobetter showing a 25mm filter for about $1.15 each is not a bad harm reduction investment.

Peeker. No worries, you ain't the first. Hard to do.
How many forums you think you’ve been banned from or chased off between me and the first?

I used to use vials from Ks-Tek before i upgraded.

The stoppers look like the ones in the MedLabSupply url (not double rings).
They have quite a few different stopper designs too besides double rings, lines etc. They sell on Amazon and you can find user uploaded pictures there if you want.

The stoppers were kinda crap tho they claim to be PTFE coated.
