Pharma testosterone enanthate question

I have some Zydus Testoviron (Testosterone Enanthate 250mg/ml) and on the ingredients it only lists arachis oil and testosterone enanthate.

However on opening it, it has a sweet almost strawberry/artificial fruit flavour like smell. Which is unexpected considering the listed ingredients.

I found a few reddit threads mentioning something like that in pharmaceutical testosterone.

I wanted to ask if any other long time trt users have come accross this in their testosterone before?

I can’t for the life of me think of what could cause it.

Another bit of feedback on this brand, the ampoules are insanely difficult to open (I literally crushed one in my hand) , and if you do manage it its a very uneven break.

Not like previous ampoules I’ve used where it breaks cleanly along the break line with minimal force.

Get an amp opener.
It's like 2$ and reusable.

Could the smell be from the benzoyl benzoate? I don't think they list it on amps but I could be wrong. Might need to check the paper that came in the box.

That’s what testosterone raws smell like to me. Fruity/flowery.

Zydus is a top tier pharma company, so if it’s genuine, it’s likely a good product.

No preservative though, so use the ampule all in one shot or quickly preload another syringe and don’t let it sit around too long. A syringe filer is also a good idea with all ampules.

Could the smell be from the benzoyl benzoate? I don't think they list it on amps but I could be wrong. Might need to check the paper that came in the box.

I eventually used a syringe barrel to open it.
I may grab an amp opener tho.

And the smell is not like benzyl benzoate it’s fruitier and less solventy.

Pct24/7 told me it’s very normal for Indian ampoules though if I am to believe it.

I used a bd 5 micron filter needle (supposedly nylon membrane so compatible with bb, although this doesn’t have bb or ba) and quickly drew it into a syringe, and will use it in two shots over two weeks (will see whether the half life is acceptable for that or not).

Hopefully no contamination over that time frame… fingers crossed.

Mine had a pretty strong smell too, i think it might just be the arachis oil.
