Retatrutide or Tirzepatide for recomp?

I recently started lifting again after taking about a year off due to an injury. I’m currently around 20–25% body fat and plan to do a cut while focusing on body recomp. Im 5'7 at 155 lbs atm.

Between retatrutide and tirzepatide, which would be more appropriate for my situation? What would be a safe starting dosage, and how should I increase it over time? For context, I also have high blood pressure and elevated hematocrit levels as of recently.

No. .5- 1mg is below any established dosing via testing. The minimum dose is 2.5mg. Similarly, there are zero clinical studies showing injecting more than once a week has any additional effect. Respectfully, that is peptide broscience. There has been million$ poured into clinical trials. Not a single one of those supports what you've suggested.

KISS: Starting dose 2.5, once per week.
I lost 10 vanity pounds never going above 2mg/week (started at 1.25mg and stayed there most of the time). Now 11.5% BF as a female. Obviously the clinical trial is not going to use such a low dose when they are studying unhealthy populations with large amounts of excess fat and underlying health conditions.

Also, there IS data on twice per week dosing from one of the survodutide trials, which showed a twice-weekly dose totaling 2.4mg slightly outperformed a once weekly dose at 2.7mg, in terms of weight lost at 16 weeks.

N=1 and trials on other drugs aren't science.

my anecdotal response to reta was i started at 2.5mg every 6 days and by day 2 of my first dose i had a completely nuked appetite. didnt see physique changes until week 2-3 but i lost 5 lb of water weight in the first week.

I would say that Reta would be better. I've tried BOTH. With tirzepatide, you have to do a "workaround" or 2 to keep the muscle on. Tirz kills appetite, Reta at least allows you to eat and keep (and in some cases build) size. I'm currently running 1 mg/week, divided into 2 doses.

I've run 2 mg of Reta, but I just wanted to see if I could go lower, and luckily, I can maintain this. With Tirz, the suppression was too much, depending on the phase I'm in. Now, if I get to be a fatty over the winter, I'm going straight to Tirz.
