Reta phase 3 results out

I’m waiting for commentary from @Ghoul @Photon and others. They ratcheted these poor bastards up to 12 mg daily. Can’t imagine taking that much. Efficacy was above expectations but so was discontinuation rate (again, 12 mg is nuts).

Lilly has 7 more Reta trials in the works.
Funny. At my peak I was using 10mg of reta at the end of my cut. Got me to a marvelous skinny ass weight of 153 lbs. Going to 12mg would have put me below 150 but I was at the end of that cut anyway.

Currently at 12mg the last 3 weeks, 10lbs left till hitting goal weight. Had doing well with Tirz before going to Reta but I needed to re-up and figured might as well change over to Reta.

I was up to 10mg Tirz, took a week break then started Reta at 1mg and slowly upped as hunger/food noise crept back up. Probably would've hit weight already at a lower dose but having a newborn has thrown sleep&diet in the toilet which then kills activity levels.

Do you maintain on a lower dose of reta now? I noticed I maintained on 4mg. Cutting now on 7mg and hoping I’ll be able to drop back down to 4mg after my cut.

I'm bulking now but the answer is yes. I reduced it down to 2mg per week but got way too hungry and slapped on too much weight too quickly so I went and increased it to 4mg which slowed it back down. I've been hovering in the 180s but definitely gaining in the range of 1lbs a week again.

Reta is alright but I don't like what it does to my RHR. Once I'm done with it, I'm going back to tirz. I figure with tirz I find my maintenance dose and then decrease it half a mg every other week to lean bulk or go the opposite to cut.

Glp1s are better suited when you're counting calories and I begrudgingly hate to admit this. I really just want a break from weighing shit. But yeah knowing you are to eat X amount of calories and then you get to it, you end up needing less of a glp1 because your will power couped with appetite suppression keeps you in check. If you're just cutting with reta and no calorie counting, I would instead just go to tirz which is way cheaper and more powerful. Regardless couple these drugs with calorie counting. It's game changing.

I originally was on tirz for 6 months after a nasty dirt bulk, however after consistent use, and reaching 12.5mg once weekly at one point I felt terrible on it. Felt worse and worse each dose increase. I did reach my goal weight though.

That's when I transitioned slowly to reta and found my maintenance dose (4mg). Felt 10x better but part of that was most certainly from not being in a deficit anymore. Did a small bulk at 3-3.5mg for a little while splitting the weekly dosage EOD which seemed to work pretty well.

Now attempting to drop the fat from my recent bulk for the past 7 weeks. Upped it to 6mg split EOD from the 3mg and dropped around 15 lbs in 6 weeks. Didn't have the suppression like tirz but I definitely was full majority of the day and had major control over portions being able to stick to my planned meals easily. The EOD dosing felt great for those 6 weeks.

This past week (Week 7) my hunger and food noise came back out of nowhere so i started 7mg still keeping the EOD dosing schedule the past week. The holiday didn't help and I slacked on my tracking a little bit and noticed I could easily eat well over maitenance if I wanted to with less control. Not sure if that was the sign to up the dose as my body is fighting back after losing a decent amount of weight in those 6 weeks.

Thinking I should try twice a week dosing or even once weekly to get the higher peaks which likely would be more beneficial for a cut but I was doing EOD dosing with the assumption a more steady level would keep my appetite control/cravings steady throughout the week as it did very well while bulking on 3mg and that was the same for the first 6 weeks of this cut on 6mg. Or maybe just continue with the EOD dosing and keep escelating it to maybe 8-9mg instead since 7mg may not be enough of an increase. Only been on 7mg for one week so it's too soon to tell as of now until it reaches steady state but I'm only like 5lbs from getting back to 10% bf which is where I like to maintain so I'd like to squeeze the most out of each dose. I'm about 10lbs heavier than when I was maintaining on 4mg so raising the dosage has me nervous I'll need a higher maitenance/bulk dose after this cut. Would much appreciate others experiences and input as well on this topic
