That's a good point. I didn't want to complicate things any further but that would 100% be best practice.

I am not a coinbase user, but doubt Kraken is any different. They are really tryharding with the laws and protection these days

Would a burner wallet in Metamask be fine to avoid this problem?

Kraken is most definitely KYC, unfortunately.

I haven't used Metamask myself, but from what I understand about it, I believe it would work for our purposes here.
 
I use Coinbase to buy USDC and then transfer to MetaMask myself. It works fine. In fact, I've grown to prefer USDC over BTC now, especially because of lower fees. CashApp's spread and fees always left me annoyed.

I can’t get cashapp to work with China vendors! Not once and I used them for domestic and the fee is stuoid high lol

Yes metamask is good I’ve used it with usdt to buy from Tracy with no problem I’ve also used it for eth and btc to buy from other places never had a problem

The last five days included two holidays and the weekend.

I wouldn't panic.


Generally, you should plan your orders a little in advance...

Delays are to be expected around holidays like Christmas, Black Friday due to the high volume of packages, and the Chinese holidays (note that these begin at the end of January and continue until February).

This is perfectly normal.

Every year around this time, people wonder where their orders are….

Dont get me wrong, not worried or in Rush, just a bit unusual, even for holiday time, that the state is Stuck at „Left Sorting Center, FR“ since 31.12. without any change.

So is metamask gonna be like base? Base BTC is wrapped and kinda like base own network! That why I lost my BTC I sent Tracy. Is meta the same? Because I been lookin for a wallet to use besides base. Currently just send out of Coinbase but don’t want it locked up
