T= 763 ng/dL – Start Enclomiphene or leave it? 44y

Hello :)

I’ve been thinking about boosting my Testosterone a bit with Enclomiphene, but my latest bloodwork shows 763 ng/dL, which seems like a pretty solid natural level for my age at 44. At this point, should I really start adding anything, or would I just be risking side effects and unnecessary interference?

With Enclomiphene, I’d probably also want to add MK‑677 (taking this already for recovery but will stop this) or Tesamorelin to keep IGF 1 at a good level, and both of those come with their own issues (appetite, water retention, insulin‑related concerns, etc.). Given that my T is already in the high‑normal range for my age, I’m wondering if it’s wise to chase “more” at all, or if I’m better off focusing on lifestyle, training, and recovery instead. Or maybe a really low dose, like 3,25mg EOD?

Of course only i can finally decide this - but i'm really interessted in our opions on that.

Did you get your free t and SHBG levels? Curious because those might give you better insight on what to do.

I'm also 44 and have total t of 722 ng/dl but free t is only 58.3pg/dl. I'm considering options also for that reason, but if your free t is higher you may not decide to do anything.

That being said, I consider enclomiphene and determined that its likely not going to move the needle much. I'm going to supplement with boron as my SHBG is very high. Then I'll move to TRT.

As for Tesamorelin and MK677, I've done tesa and it worked well. After only 8 weeks my z score moved to 1.1. No sides other than the typical hgh related sides (carpal tunnel). Mk677 i couldn't get past the potential sides, especially since tesa worked so well. Hgh should also be an option.

My lab results for Free T and SHBG-along with IGF-1 and Estrogen-should be ready early next week. I will keep you updated once they arrive.

Regarding my protocol, I am currently taking 6mg of Boron daily. I plan to increase this to 9mg using a cycle of 2 weeks on and 1 week off (potentially tapering to 3mg during the off-week to maintain baseline levels
