Lee Priest (IFBB Professional Bodybuilder) has been suspended from competition for the last 12 months. He was recently up for reinstatement on October 2, 2007 but was denied. This angered his fans, and bodybuilding fans in general. This petition is to demand that Lee Priest be reinstated into the IFBB so that he can compete once again!

Oh,well thats a lot different and I was unaware of that ; the letter of susension is dated 6 september2006.
So his suspension period should be over.
I guess legal action wouldn't be doing himself any favors for next time he got up on stage.

Lee is a bodybuilding phenom. He's been kicking ass since he was 13. Who cares in he's 5'4" when his measurements are the same as the taller guys? Franco Columbu was 5'5", I'm assuming he shouldn't have been allowed to compete?

No, I am 5'3 or 5'4". My height goes up in down in some magazines. I have seen myself as little as 5'2" in a magazine. No, it doesn't bother me. If you have seen my family, I am probably the tallest in my family, so nothing has stunted my growth at all, it had nothing to do with the drugs. I come from a short family. Then I read on the boards that because I am short and small, that's why I look bigger. If I am weighing 200 pounds, and my arms 21 or 22 inches, and you are 6'3" and your 280 pounds with 22 inch arms, I don't think that makes you a good guy. You've got the same measurements as a guy 5'5", you are not a big guy. You should be bigger than me if you are taller and heavier than me. You should have more muscle than me. I get tired when people ask me 'How do I feel about being a smaller bodybuilder". If my body measurements is like someone who weights 260 pounds, how does that make me small? I will take the short, I don't give a shit about being short but if I carry the same dimensions as someone taller than me, I don't see how that makes me a small bodybuilder.

His head is to big for his body even at 200lbs.

Actually height has a tremendous effect on work completed, aside from the fact that shorter limbs yeild far higher leverages than longer limbs because of how our muscles work, shorter people move the weight a shorter distance, meaning per rep the muscles are engaged less time. That's why shorter guys lift more with the same muscle mass. Ever see Franco deadlift? It was nuts for a guy his size, yeah he was a powerlifter, but rest assured a large part of his high maximal strength was due to his compact build. He wasnt even that strong when he started lifiting.

Agreed. Thats why that hali mutlu guy is stronger pound of body weight vs. pound on the bar then the heavy weights in the olympics too.

They wont re-instate him because he is short? So he has been an IFBB participant for over 10+years and they were just waiting for him to participate in an non sanctioned event to kick him out and keep him out? I will bet it is more political. Lee Preist has been very verbal for years and maybe the powers that be finally has a chance to exercise there powers and are doing so to the fullest extent.

Oh I am not taking anything away from columbo whatsoever. He was a very strong dude!
However hot water bottel popping is showmanship. Ever wonder why they are hot?
Its about force impulse more than strength, we blew up some bottles in chemistry and tempature and impulse had way more effect then total volume of air ( no doubt though he had good lungs, i mean he was a boxer!)

Yep, looks like a mullet. I agree asap, priest has been pretty outspoken and "un-pc". Perhaps some kind of lesson wanting to be taught.
