im 30 yr old male on testosterone replacment 100mg test depo per week . i weight 252 lbs and im 5'11 and im pretty much fat.

i need help on how to start eatilng better , all i eat is junk and crave it , and i never feel full .

i cant get out of this rut

please help me get out of the rut im in tell me were to start please ?

100 mgs a week is NOT enough at your size, that may put you just below normal for a small guy

you need around 250 mgs a week

Not fair to be on that dose your in Endocrine Limbo


go to a hrt clinic in you area and demand a mans dose

If you have tried to eat better and failed then start making smaller changes to your diet. If you drink soda...force yourself to drink a glass of water b4 you can have a soda..or better yet give it up all together, or drink diet. Keep a diet log of everything you eat...down to each bite. Do you eat mostly at night, morning or equally throughout the day. Most people overeat or eat crap mainly b/c they have no idea what they are putting into their mouths, and once you start to keeping track you will see what and when you have the most problems. Post a few days of what you eat so we can see what we have to work with.:)
 
100 mg gets me over 950 so its good , and im making smalls steps , i just crav junk food for some reason ,
 
So is it your will power that needs the focus and not your nutrition? I am sure a good portion of the individuals here crave junk food but we just don't eat it or at least keep it to a minimum. If junk food is all you eat then you have a lot of work ahead of you. And I have never been able to eat junk and feel full, that is why you keep eating it. There are a ton of logs on here on what we eat for each meal. Do a little reading and then throw out all the shit in ur house. If you keep it in you house you will definitly eat it. Like I said b4 just start with small steps and go from there. Forcing yourself to drink water b4 you eat or drink any garbage will fill ur stomach up a bit and also is a great way to make sure you are getting all you H2O for the day. It also helps to burn fat:

When you drink ice cold water at 32F your body needs energy to heat that water up to body temperature of 98.6F. So how much does that come out to?

Heat transferred = mass x (temperature change) x Specifc Heat

The specific heat of water is 4.18 J/g-C
2 Gallons of water = 7.57 Liters = 7570 grams
32F = 0C and 98.6F = 37C so Temperature Change = 37C - 0C = 37C

Heat Transferred = 7570g x 37C x 4.18 J/g-C = 1,170,776 J or 1171 KJ

Since 1 kilo-calorie = 4.1868 KJ, 1171 KJ = 280 Kcal

So drinking 2 gallons ice cold water per day will force your body to burn 280 kcal a day.

You can do the same calculation with "room temp" water and assuming that is 76F then drinking 2 gallons of warmer water will only require 98 Kcal a day.

So you can burn an extra 180 kcal a day by drinking 2 gallons ice cold water instead of drinking room temperature water - that's almost 1/3 pound of fat a week with no extra effort :-)"

thanks man im starting monday , slow just no candy or snacks for a week then every week start cutting out junk and replacing it with good stuff.

is 5 meals a day good enough for now ? 3 meals and 2 fruits
 
you should be eating b/t 5 and 6 meals a day with all protein, fat and carbs for the day equally broken up among each meal. Hope this helps and ask away if you need any other help
