Zero libido, low T (21, male)

Your labs don't make sense to me. If I just look at test, LH and FSH it screams primary.....but why is your E2 so high with little to no effect on LH/FSH levels? I would've expected that to be normal to low.

Perhaps someone can splain me?

aren't his lh and fsh high for primary? I thought the higher those were, the more likely it is secondary.

You seem primary to me. High LF+FSH with low-low normal testosterone is primary. As others have said your estrogen is high so I guess you could look into ways of lowering it to see if your testosterone will improve. Though with already high LH+FSH I'm not sure how much it will be raised. Was the estrogen test the "ultra-sensitive type" because if not then it's not much use to us.

It's the opposite. High LH/FSH with low test levels says primary while low LH/FSH with low testosterone levels that increase to normal-high normal when stimulation of LH/FSH occur says secondary. At least that's my understanding. Or in other words, primary would be failure of the testicles and secondary would be failure of the pituitary.

the estrogen assay he used was invalid.

the estrogen assay he used was invalid.

Estrogen level from labs in January 2012 = 206pmol
Estrogen level from labs in February 2012= 222pmol

I dont think it was a 'invalid' or 'inert' test

My testicles are full size (2nd largest on the model scale)

My endo sent me away with a viagra script and told me he would do nothing more. I got a phone call 7 hours after the consultation where he sent me away with a viagra script and said he had changed his mind, he is giving me a TRT trial of Susanton250 every 3 weeks.

I think there is a good chance TRT will help.

Get a full thyroid panel done: TSH, FT3, FT4, RT3, and both thyroid antibodies. Low shgb is indicative of hypothyroidism which shares a lot of the same symptoms as hypogonadism.

And low E2, and insulin resistance, and probably a handful of other conditions as well.....

I had thyroid done, all values came back perfectly normal.
