Is my Testosterone level to high?

This is the first time that I have had blood work performed while on gear and would like the opinon of more experienced folks on this. Please look at the pic which shows when my lab work was done on March 27 my TT serum was 323ng/dl. After 5 weeks of very mild gear use of Test and Deca my TT serum is now >1500ng/dl. Does this TT level seem very high for what I am using? Is it possible that the Deca is probably just Test?

Dr Scally, thanks for the input, and yes I am paying for my own test. My last was a total lipid profile with NMR for LDL-P, metabolic panel, liver, kidney and PSA. All looks good except for my Cholesterol which is high.

I was just thinking with taking only a total of 450mg of test over a 5 week period that my TT wouldn't have gone so high.

I had my levels checked years ago after doing a sust preload from mexico. If I remember right it was about 36 hours after my first injection and they came back at 3500ng/dls. My buddy was saying the preloads were bunk...I guess new was wrong.

Seems good enough, 1,500 ng/dl is not too high while doped.

I got bloodwork done while on 100 mg test prop EOD and it landed at 1,600 ng/dl. That's what is expected at that dose.

What I wonder is why some labs show 1,500 as the upper range of "normal", who would naturally go this high, a teenager? A man with three testicles? [)]

The 15% code expired, I did however find a 12% code on retailmenot.com that's spelled the same with the exception of the number '15' being replaced with '12.'

Out of curiosity, what is your age and cycle hx? Your natural test is a bit low(relatively speaking.)

My labs only show that my test is greater than 1500 (>1500). I,m not really sure how high the level is.

Chase, Manhore and I had a previous discussion on the Mesican SOStenon preloads and we both agreed they were very strong. For me this was back in the late 80s early 90s and I rember using half a shot a week and it was very good. I always responded well to lower doses and have been fairly conservative in my cycles.

Congats GR, you are one of the very FEW whom performed a "cycled TT level" correctly. What does that mean? Sometime between the third and seventh half life of the Tetosterone ester being used.

Why? Because this is when steady state levels are best achieved (providing the blood draw is performed roughly 12-24 hours before the next pinning). Any level obtained between the 24-48 hour POST injection, mark will be quite high and there is NO BASIS for comparison, because those are "peak values", which vary considerably from one person to the next.


(However peak values are a fine option to determine if a product is GTG, since most don't want to wait 5 weeks, or should they, IMO)

Because the alteration between Deca and Test is considerable on a chemical analytical basis, providing the lab was instructed to obtain a TT level, there should be NO interference in spite of Deca being present.

This "interference" only occurs when the lab is instructed to perform an AAS screen. Invariably the screen is qualitative (what AAS is in your blood) and once the that's complete a quantitative (how much of any detected AAS) is present.

That's the primary reason quantitive "screening" assays (which is actually a contradictory term) can be very expensive. Each test is performed separately, often mandating the use of different reagents, because now the differences chemically can be quite small!
