Pretty crazy!! He stated 10% legit in the US?? Kind makes you wonder about all these UGL that pop up here. probably a ton of basement, underdosed & mislabeled product.

Seen this a very long time ago. :) I like the "underground anabolics" book. The 2006 "anabolics" edition is better than the latest in so many aspects. In 2006 edition he covered synthol, REAL IFBB pros cycles, just the general tone is straight. Even underground labs got tested on those old editions.

Great Post noah. This is why I have always supported the idea of legalizing all drugs. Not to mention all the wasted tax payer dollars that are used on the war on drugs. But the risk created by all the knockoff drugs is far greater than the risk of the legitimate drug if regulated.

Damn, interesting. I've only read Anabolics 9th and 10th, so I missed all the other shit, but are they two different books? Like so: Books : William Llewellyn, Sports Nutrition Scientist

Yes, Underground Anabolics is a different book. There is a lot of overlap tho - I just finished UA, read Anabolics last month. I thought UA was worth the $9.99 for the Kindle edition, and Anabolics well-worth the $30 for a used paperback copy. Don't know if I'd pay $57 for a new paper Anabolics.

The e version is def worth it. Has vast amount of information on aas and cycling in general. Great to have to look back on when thinking of trying a new drug.

The "underground" book is completely different from all the "anabolics" editions. I've only taken a look at anabolics 2006. 2007, 9th and 10th. 2006 and 2007 covered some drugs that had no practical application for bodybuilding purposes so by the 9th and 10th edition he'd taken them out. But the 2006 edition which is the sickest, had some juicy content that I don't understand why llewellyn will pull out.

I don't agree with "all" drugs" but steroids for sure.

Idk I paid $90 for my ninth edition the first year it came out, and it was a great investment.

When your just starting out this gives you straight forward information, which is a lot more reliable than hoping on the boards and compounding advice.

I wish he was a bit more realistic with the cycles though.

I mean you can gain some on an eight week cycle of deca, but who stops there???

Dosages were also a tad low.

Again, in the cycles section is where the 2006 edition shines, although some of the cycles he suggests himself in 2006 are somewhat ridiculous IMO and could be streamlined with less compounds, the dosages seem spot on. The one's from real IFBB Pros are the most insightful.

I have the 10th Anabolics, and I agree it's first-rate knowledge. I'm just too cheap to pay $57 for a paperback when I can buy a used one for $30 :-) Must be flashbacks to college. They sure screw you on textbooks!

I'll look for a 2006 Anabolics next.
