I used to think that the 6-10 rep range was best but I notice I get way better results in the 10-12 rep range. I do a combination of both for my workout but no matter how hard I lift, I always feel like my workout wasn't that great. I don't know if its all in my mind because I see results but I never feel like I get a good workout. I think the reason for this could be that I go to the gym everyday by myself. I never can do that last rep that will really kill the muscle without a spot. I'm talking about the rep after you are already exhausted, the one you need a little bit of help with. I never get to this but I remember feeling like I got great workouts when I went with a partner.
