MESO-Rx Exclusive Bill Roberts: Trenbolone for the Very First Steroid Cycle

I remember him telling a new guy that he was smart to do Tren on his first cycle. For some reason, that seemed odd to me and that was wayyyy before my first cycle.

I disagree with this strenuously.
Which part?

This part?:

"As for trenbolone, a very small percentage do indeed find it unsuitable for them entirely, but the great majority can use at least 37.5 mg of trenbolone acetate per day, and a large majority have no real problem with 50 mg/day."

The bit I quoted mostly. I truly think tren should be in a class of its own and if you are caught with it the penalties are more severe than just test or deca. Possibly halo aswell.

I do agree that 'a majority' of people can use tren without major issue, anecdotally. I love Bills work but that is my least favourite posting of his. I think starting out with compounds with a low androgenic and anabolic rating is a far better approach. If you get mood and anger issues on test and tbol for your first cycle, its a good thing that tren wasn't used imo. You can adjust your tren dosage based on your first few test cycles to some extent. Not to mention the first cycle always gleans huge gains anyway, a compound as potent and vicious as tren seems outlandish to me.

I liken it to something along the lines of painkillers. "Okay, if we give this guy with a broken wrist codeine and he's pain free, perfect. Probably best we didn't give him morphine to start because the codeine had the desired effect and the side effects were close to nil."

A lot of experienced members of the PED and BB community feel the same way, including Dave Crosland and Jerry Brainum to name a few.

This is pretty much what I have read from meso vets since day 1. Which is also what kept me away from it for starters. I might run some Tren in 5-6 months, but I'm glad I took it slow.

I won't discount all the bad experiences that many people have reported. I find many credible. A certain percentage of AAS users are known to have adverse psychological side effects. But when a drug has been demonized and mythologized as much as tren when it comes to things like roid rage, etc, I think there are certain expectancy effects that are involved too.

Even so, I think we are at least in agreement that most people (anecdotally) don't experience these problems with dosage-adjusted tren.

I definitely agree with that but I still posit that its an unreasonable stance to be okay with tren on a first cycle.

In terms of "roid rage" drugs, I would say tren is on that list and should be treated as such, but its definitely mythologised to a point. Imagine giving someone cheque drops for their first cycle and saying 'ok well most people are okay with it, so lets just see how ya go there newbie'.

I dunno, maybe I'm too sensitive.

I agree with this. I remember before I had tried tren any advice I could find on it was blown way out of proportion. People would say they had severe anger issues, broke up their marriage, got into fights etc. The only personal side effects I found was a Tren Cough the odd time I nicked a vein, night sweats the odd time and increased blood pressure. As far as the gains people say you make on tren I feel they are blown way out of proportion as well.

I agree with Bill to a point on this but judging by the large amount of guys that get on here with posts like "I fucked my dick up", "why doesn't my dick work", "is this gyno?" Etc, etc I honestly feel that it's better to er on the side of caution when recommending a cycle to new guys.
