1st Filtering experience...TIRZ 20 mg w/2.0 BAC

Majority still reconstitute and inject.

But then there was a time not too long again here on Meso when the majority of homebrewers didn't filter sterilize gear ("boiling kills bacteria, idiot!"), used insufficient .45um filters, or going back pre-AIDS saw no issue sharing needles at the gym ("don't be a pussy, do I look sick bro?").
melting down fina tablets, using coffee filters on the oil and calling everyone who uses a BP med as "weak" or it being "just more drugs you don't need"

That was 2000 to 2010ish era steroid forums in a nutshell. I remember reading them as a young natty and thinking how insane they all are.

Is there a noticeable difference of loss solution in the 13mm vs 4mm when filtering 1ml of Tirz ?
Good to see you bro

Typically the hold up volume, worst case scenario, would be approx:

4mm ~1 unit (on 100 unit/1ml insulin syringe)

13mm - 2.5 units

25mm - 7 units

The larger the volume used to reconstitute, the less relevant it is. Pre wetting the filter with .5ml BAC lowers the loss further.

Pushing air through the filter will recover most of it.

Can't you just chase it with more BAC water?

That's what I mean, on most of the sites for re-constituting they just talk about adding bac water.
Most people do not filter it. This guy is speaking out of his ass. He talks about things that he reads and was the first one to push it on this forum. I have never heard of anyone doing so

Could you filter it? yea

is it needed? No.

I havent heard of anyone having problems from peptides and the quality of it was worse years ago

This guy's experience is mainly to himself.

definitely filter Tesamorelin and mots-c. I hate to even use the word, but tesa will aggregate and mota-c has the highest reaction risk from what I’ve seen. I took 2mg tesa + 5mg mots one morning and almost had to go grab the epi.

Anyway, people are filtering test cyp?!
Did filtering those completely remove the allergic reaction?

Is this common practice? I have never filtered a peptide, or anything for that matter.
It's more common in the peptide communities that aren't associated with AAS. I'm not sure anyone can accurately tell you how how common since we'd just be speculating. I will say it's much more common today than it was even a year ago.

According to this video, based on their tests they lost about 7 units with a 4mm, and 28 units with a 13mm.

Wait so you mitigated ISR by taking less doses and it wasn’t from the filtering that reduced it then?
There are two peptides that I see regularly giving people serious allergic reactions: Mots-C and Tesamorelin. For me, Tesamorelin woild cause a “build up” of histamine reactions, it seemed. Once I started filtering it and taking an antihistamine, it calmed down.

Mots-c is a different beast for me. One day I took 2mg of tesa and 10mg of mots-c and I almost went to go get my EpiPen. It was bad. So I almost lit my mots-c on fire and I sold all my Tesa.

Then I was listening to vigorous Steve one day. He said he had similar reaction to mots-c. He recommended small daily doses instead. So I started doing 2-3mg daily (usually 2.5) and I never had another reaction. I still get ISR and a welt on occasion, but nothing that feels systemic like that one day.

Anyway, this is what works for me. To each their own! I don’t typically filter my peptides from my known and trusted vendors. That’s just me. It’s probably good to do so, I just don’t do it and found a balance that works for me.
