(2,4-Dinitrophenol) Log

I didn’t mean literally @TRT, I’ve always liked you too. No homo! I’ve got no beef with @Eman. He’s a smart dude and we disagree sometimes. We’ve never cursed or called each other names. He might not like me but I like him. It’s the same with dr Jim. We got into a debate about CBD and it turned out I was right. He won’t talk or reply to me anymore.

For the record I’ve never claimed that superdrol was not poison. I’ve never stood up for SD just because it treated me well will no side effects. I’ve always said that shit poison and I don’t recommend that ANYONE uses it.
Oh ya I was just teasing you. Lol

We're cool dude. I have no problem with you, or really anyone that's here. If I'm being honest, I think you can be a little close minded about certain things like DNP or issues you disagree with... Which leads you to get somewhat combative. You've routinely been pretty harsh to anyone running a DNP log, called names to people using it who want to document their experience so others might learn and stay safe. I don't think that's fair to anyone who wants to learn about it.

I started out being 1000% against DNP... Then I came across @Conciliator and his posts about DNP and realized I knew nothing, so I'm glad I kept an open mind. I appreciate your candor here though! Don't take any of this the wrong way, I think you're a valuable resource to the forum.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

@Fryguy
You can only do what you can around the holidays? Tomrw I'll be working out at a gym at the nearby hospital which is what they call their "wellness center". Gotta do what you can. It's actually like a regular gym believe it or not.

I let my membership lapse at the 24 hour gym by me. I did just finish a 13 week program 1 1/2 weeks ago so I was planning on last and this week as deload anyway. Planning on doing a 30 min jog tomorrow too fasted.

How long do you usually do fasted cardio for?
I usually spend about an hour on the stair stepper.
Just as an FYI. I do notice better fat loss on 30min of cardio fasted ED then 1hr of cardio EOD. Not sure why but I've swapped back and forth a number of times and this method has always worked better for me.

Just sharing my experience with you.

Appreciated. I struggle with fasted cardio because I drag ass in the morning. Typically when I do though, I like 30 mins on the stairmaster if I'm at the gym. At home it's always a 20-30 min jog. I had good results with continuing the fast about 2 hours post jog when I was running gh too. I didn't seem to lose much muscle either. I'm looking to pick up a treadmill so I can incorporate incline walks in the morning at home. Doesn't seem as daunting as running to me lol.

I sympathize, I am bad at morning cardio too. Unless I'm really trying to cut weight, it's better for me to get the extra sleep for recovery. Sacrificing sleep to wake up and do cardio is pretty much a zero sum game.

I'll eventually start doing morning walks again when the clocks change and the sun comes up when I get up... So much easier to get moving when the sun and birds are up.

I want to thank all of you for patient with me with me when I act combative.
I am really going to work on being more open minded and try to educate myself more before I go running my mouth. It’s a bad habit that I need to kick anyway.
I hope you guys have a great Xmas!

I'm a morning person so I've woken up with my brother before and we'll both just start laughing for no reason. Lol
I'll wake up and have a cup of black coffee just to shake the sleepy feeling and then get ready and go to the gym. I just realized I am fasted for about 2hrs by the time I get to the gym and do cardio.

@Eman the book I was talking about.

A Most Misunderstood Molecule: 2,4-Dinitrophenol: The Pharmacology and Toxicology

"Popularized in the '30s as a powerful weight loss drug, 2,4-dinitrophenol (DNP) has re-emerged repeatedly in the medical and scientific literature as a weight-loss compound tied to misadventure and death. Hyperbolic claims and scientific illiteracy fuel confusion and misunderstanding about this compound, which was never approved for human use but which may have real therapeutic applications. Addressing the myths with peer-reviewed science, this book provides the chemistry, pharmacology, and toxicology of DNP. Also, case reports of human exposure and deaths associated with its use are described. Current research with DNP suggests a potential revival of this molecule as a safe and effective weight-loss drug and a protective agent against a host of diseases."

See at the end where it says a potential revival? They took the molecule and tweaked it slightly to remove the toxicities of the drug/chemical compound. I remember reading where they said they started trials on it a few years back but there's no way I can find that again. I was doing a shit ton of research at the time. I didn't bother to keep track of it (this potential safe new version) because if it's not mentioned again anywhere else it's either very new or a lie.
Like I said can't remember where I read it but maybe I'll start snooping around again.

Anyone else hear anything like this?

Yes, I have. I forget the name of the derivative they came up with, but they were able to tweak it in a few ways, one of which was half life I think.

I downloaded the book for free in Kindle store, was having trouble converting to a PDF last night. I still have that other thing by Lyle if you want it.

This book reminds me of the book that @Conciliator was working on.

Yes I do. Thank you.
Do you have to view it in PDF format?

PM me your email... I know I have it somewhere but can't remember it. It is a PDF, should be easy to read on any device.

I have a long flight tonight, I'll read the DNP book until it puts me to sleep lol.

If you haven't done DNP nor researched it further than "people dying in their ice bathtub." You probably shouldn't speak upon DNP.

It can be used with risks minimization. I have used up to 600mg/day.

Day 7-
217.9lbs
Fasted cardio 2.4 miles in 20 mins

200mg w/ meal 1 @ 1pm

I realized today I mislabeled the days. Today is actually day 9 and will be correct moving forward. As of now, it looks like I will continue past day 10 and possibly up to 14.
