2 Fat Loss Drugs On My Radar

After gaining alot of weight from antidepressants due to a big increase in appetite and cravings, I decided to look into fat loss drugs to help me lose weight. I have been lean all my life and in order to bulk I had to force myself to eat so this is not normal for me to be this fat. Now I understood why someone people are overweight as losing weight with a messed up appetite and mental illness and any other health condition can be nearly impossible unless you want to feel hungry for the rest of your life. It just takes more food to feel full and you get hungry much quicker despite eating more than usual.

Now there are alot of great anabolics out there but after doing my research I couldn't find any good fat loss drugs. There's stimulants which obviously have lots of side side effects and arent even weight loss drugs. Dnp which I've looked into but it does cause you to heat up and perhaps makes you not feel well while on it, it's just kind of an iffy drug. Lastly you have FDA approved drugs but they don't show that much weight loss really. In conclusion I don't think there are any good weight loss drugs right now as they are all just very primitive.

However I did find 2 promising drugs on the horizon that are better than the current medication we have.

Tesofensine (Appetite Suppressant): A serotonin neuropinephrin dopamine reuptake inhibitor (raises the levels of these neurotransmitters) originally developed for Alzheimer's but the participants lost alot of weight and was then trialed for fat loss. Currently in stage 3 clinical trials and the company is trying to get FDA approval soon. It showed more weight loss than any current drug on the market. The downside is that I do believe it has a mild stimulating effect but it was well tolerated with only a few people dropping out.

Bam15 (DNP Derivative/Fat Burner): This drug was only tested in rats but with promising results. Its just like dnp but it doesn't raise body temperature and also it does other chemical stuff healthier than other dnp derivatives. Essentially it makes your mitochondria inefficient at producing energy and other benefits but it seems to preserve muscle tissue and burn fat. One instance was rats with obesety gene treated with bam15 stoped gaining weight while the control continued to pack on fat. Other instance was 3 groups | high fat diet | hfd + bam15 | 15% calorie defecit to lose the same weight as bam15 | bam15 group lost more fat and kept their muscle while eating 15% more than the dieting rats and improved glucose and insulin.

I found a few places from china that sell these and I'm really thinking of taking tesofensine and maybe bam15.

It would very likely be a more valuable option for you to discuss this with your prescribing doctor to evaluate options. There are other SSRI'S that have shown to cause less weight gain than others, some can even cause weight loss. I don't think either of these options are a great idea for the long term, so with that in mind, they don't seem to be worthwhile to attempt.

This is exactly what I meant.
I was about to suggest to him to just tell his psychiatrist, once he would say that he's being watched by one.
Spot on.

Mirtazapine
Most of ssris do so. They fuck with the appetite.
When I used to take quetiapine however I would eat a huge meal or bunch of junk 30 mins after taking it, I’d fall asleep and wake up and grab more food, and do that 1-3 more times throughout the night, when I would wake up in the morning I would have to clean the mess I made in my kitchen and the food from my bed that I brought back and fell asleep eating.

Google "mirtazapine can't stop eating".

I out eat tren on this. Used it for half a month to be able to sleep.
Helped with sleep immensely. Ridiculous dreams. Unbelievable appetite.

Crazy, I get none of that from mitrazapine, but seroquil I do, all of it.. tren also kills my appetite, and gives me gyno flare ups at low low doses, when NOTHING else does, my body just won’t agree with it.

Consult with your psychiatrist. Never change your psychedelics without your doctors supervision.
Yeah I know I will ask my psychiatrist about potential interactions but I am now done with ssris and snris as I have tried almost every single one along with many add on medications. Paxil is what caused this crazy weight gain.

I have been off medication for 3 weeks and my appetite finally went down alot but I'm switching to maoi inhibitors now. I'll ask my doctor to first try one that doesn't effect my appetite but if it doesn't work then I might have to use one that does increase my appetite and I want to be ready to combat the weight gain. The problem is that I need a sedating drug but those cause weight gain while stimulants make you lose weight.

It should be for everyone.
However in this case, diet is not applicable.
Cardio can always be done but without being able to diet, you can only go so far.
Also, that's wrong about fat loss drugs.
We could say the same for steroids but hey,you are training your ass off and dieting too.
Drugs alone won't work,full stop.

In his case he just has to ask his psychiatrist, what can be done to make dieting possible. From then on,he will be fine with dieting and cardio alone. No drugs needed to lose weight the same way not drugs are needed to put on muscle(to a point).

We want things sped up,all of us including me and you. Otherwise we wouldn't be here.
