20,000 calories a day

I was reading something on Jon Pall Sigmarsson, and in it it said he ate between "10,000 and 20,000 calories a day". Is that really possible? I know strongmen ate a shit load and I can totally see eating 10k / day, but 20k?!

You could probably almost die from that:eek: What the fuck would you eat? That would be like a couple whole chickens and 55 eggs, 8 pounds of pasta:eek:

Jay Cutler says he eats between 8000 and 10000 during his bulking phase. I think 10,000 is even pushing it to the point of BS.

I can't see 20,000. I have eaten 10,000 but only for a couple days. 9000 seemed to be my ceiling though, 8000 I could consistently for 10-12 days. And that was hard. This was back when I put myself on a cyclical calorie diet where I would load calories for 2 weeks and then drop them to 4500 for 2 weeks. You body is smart and will adjust to it. So eating like that 10k (much less 20k) is almost useless. I have my best gains alternating my calories. 35 lean natural lbs in 7 months. but this was after a long lay off and muscle memory had a lot to do with those gains.

to get in 20k would require so much fat you'd have to be drinking flax oil like water.

Anyone watch the South Park Episode where Cartman shoves food up his ass and shit out his mouth?[:o)]

Maybe that's how 20000 cals can be reached!

Sorry bros, just wanted to add to the BS.

Jesus guys, can't you see this guy is joking?! lol This guy is wolfin' down 5-6 large bags of potato chips and swiggin' down a keg a beer a day for the protein content in it!l Hmm! 20,000!! lol
Very easy at his size!!

20,000 bullshit.

10,000 bullshit.

You'd end up a diabetic lard-monster that is bed-ridden and needs to lifted out by crane.

I don't think 10k is BS. I eat 1500 in one meal sometimes, which is like 12 eggs, some steak and a big glass of milk or like 4 muscle milks (which I can drink to no end). If you do that 6 x a day and you get 9000, so... not impossible.

20,000 would be extremely difficult to consume, even with olive oils, peanut butter and other quick and easy calories. The biggest issue I see with it is that your body would stop responding. There is a max amount of food the body can process in one day. I think the stress on organs like the liver wouldn't be worth it. Not to mention the stretching of the stomach which occurs pretty badly at half that. Some of the biggest pro bbs eat somewhere just around 10,000 but 20k???? It's just not necessary to succeed IMO.

Thats what I say 20000 bullshit, 10000 could be possible but extremely hard. Thats 40 hot dogs with the bun in a day every day. Quite a bit I think.

Yea, 10,000 is possible but very hard. I have done it for a few weeks and the feeling of constantly being full almost killed me. I would eat about every two hours. Now, there is a supp (cant think of the name of it now) but it was like 1200 cals in one cup. That would def help with the cals in the day. Also, you can go to smoothie shack and get a 3000 calorie smoothie which actually taste good as shit!!

Yeah its possible. But not without causing serious health problems, a massive gut and pileing the fat on at an expedential rate;)

Maybe if he really liked drinking oil he could pull this off. Otherwise, he'd be pooping and vomiting from the stress placed on his digestive system.
