I cant help but conclude that anyone who examines the economic data since Regans trickle down economics policies became widely accepted as fact simply is incapable of logical thought.
Good Grief Charlie Brown- not again.

Somehow they have now convinced a lot of people to vote against their own interests.
I mean when you look at the base of support for the Republican Party, its the poorer areas....... They are all voting to pay higher taxes than their bosses even though they might only make a small fraction of what they make.
Its like a great big joke, and the middle class is the punchline.

What really pisses me off as much as the manipulation is the rapmant apathy. There is "fair and balanced" information out there and not at all hard to find.
But it doesnt go down as well as the pre thought out versions. Requires thought and effort.
I am beginning to suspect that Jefferson was right in that the masses arent capable of governing themselves- Various reasons.
But since the system is corrupted from the inside out it doesnt really matter.

It'd be simple to say get rid of the electoral college so we'd reduce apathy, but that's not what a Republic is. The founding fathers feared 'tyranny of the masses' who are generally asses.

America is generally a moderate country with a few wedge issues either party likes to parade during election season. It's time to get rid of that bickering.

The one issue that if I could change tomorrow is getting rid of religion in America. I don't care that you believe in adult fairy tales. Just don't impose those beliefs on me just like the FFs intended.

That all being said, again vote for Romney in swing states and Johnson in solid states. I truly hope a libertarian makes in my lifetime. It's just not happening this cycle.

Why Romney? His environmental policy and foreign policy. Let's be pragmatic. Green energy is pie in the sky and Obama has been too friendly to the Muslim world. The Arab Spring is a disaster! Dictators are better for western interests than Islamists.

This is coming from a guy who voted for Clinton, Gore, and Kerry.
