Did my first cycle, 500mg test only for 6 months and now been on 200mg for 3 months. Got a bit acne so I went to doctor to get accutane she did bloodwork, everything is in range except cholesterol and ldl. Here are the numbers: Total cholesterol: 8.1 mmol/L = 313.23 mg/dL
HDL cholesterol: 1.5 mmol/L = 58 mg/dL
LDL cholesterol: 6.2 mmol/L = 239.75 mg/dL
Serum triglycerides: 0.8 mmol/L = 70.86 mg/dL
I'm not taking any supps, just test, I have pretty clean diet, I'm 90 kg(I dont know the bf but I think I'm close to 10%, I have veins on my quads and couple ones on my six pack- guess thats good indicator.) Tho I feel pretty healthy I really didn't expect Cholesterol to be this high, now I gotta go to endocrinologist and see what he says.
Should I come off? I'm really loving the gym and I'm even progressing more now then on 500mg.

Hey! You can add ursodeoxycholic acid at 1000mg a day and NAC at 2g a day.
If lipids don`t return to norm in a month, you can try a low dose of statins.

Alright, thank you man. Will look into that. I still can't figure it out how only Test cycle can mess up my cholesterol like that. I read somewhere that there are Two types of LDL less dense one coming from healty fats and dense one, bad one. And my diet is filled with good fats like walnuts, chia, olive oil... So mybe there is more less dense ldl in my blood?

Hey!
Total cholesterol: 8.1 mmol/L
HDL (high-density lipoprotein) = 1.5 mmol/L
LDL (low-density lipoprotein) = 6.2 mmol/L
---
HDL ("good") cholesterol
LDL ("bad") cholesterol
Your total-cholesterol-to-HDL ratio can be figured out by dividing your total cholesterol number by your HDL cholesterol number. Together, these numbers provide more information about your coronary heart disease risk than knowing only 1 of the numbers.

In general:
The higher the ratio, the higher the risk.
Most healthcare providers want the ratio to be below 5:1.
A ratio below 3.5:1 is considered very good.
---

Testosterone is synthesized from cholesterol.
Excesses and skewness are formed on the cycle.

If you’re going to blast and cruise there is a lot of benefits to a statin. Most guys choose rousuvastatin including myself. There’s also APOB,LP(a) and a few others lipid markers to keep an eye on.

This will sound crazy but if you keep your total cholesterol at or below 80 (if I recall correctly) it’s impossible to have plaque build up.

APOB is atherosclerotic keep below 140 mine is around 70 on cycle. Raised by androgens. (As well as normal LDL while HDL is suppressed)

LP(a) is suppressed by androgens, but it’s a genetic factor you only needa pull it once in life to know it you have to consider it as a risk factor.

I started out taking 5mg eod and had incredible results. You can find my results posted on here under a statin thread somewhere or I can post them again. I more recently went to 2.5mg ED, bloods still look great can’t say I notice a difference between the two dosing protocols. To summarize, I wouldn’t be afraid of a statin. Every one of us has thought of doing tren and the sides of tren is way worse than the low low chance of sides from a statin.

Yes I need to learn a bit about statins. Thanks for info but I dont know if any clinic in my country has tests for that markers. Also question, I pretty much wasted 2 days before bloodwork(ate only fats and protein -1000cal), can that affect lipid markers?

Oh, you’re in a different country gotcha. Not sure how the medical system works their, we just order our own bloods online for what we want in the US.

Yes what you eat leading up to a blood test can skew the markers some. Lipids and triglycerides are only a snap shot in time. So if you pulled them again they could be different today I wouldn’t sweat it to much, just try and nudge them in the right direction.

Here is my rousuvastatin bloods experiment from earlier this year. 5mg eod. I was on 175test/420deca/210 mast. I don’t recall my macros, my only change was adding the statin.

Edit: these bloods are roughly one month apart.

damn it really works. So rousuvastatin is most used one, guess its really low side effect one then?

I’d say it’s the best one, it doesn’t cross the blood brain barrier, like other statins.

As far as sides go the stuff is so powerful you don’t need as high of dose as a lot of the studies. Less than 5% of people report side effects on statins and I’m proposing a much lower dose than in those studies. My argument always is, we’ll (meaning us juice head freaks) do tren but a statin and everyone freaks out. LoL.

5mg EOD was in my bloods posted
2.5 ED is my current protocol mostly so I don’t forget.

Alright, I will search and learn a bit about statins this week. I hear about ezetimibe a lot also. So I got my to do list:1. Fix cholesterol 2. trick my endocrinologist that I'm not on test(he will check my hormones for sure). My plan is to use hcg and enclomiphene + lower the test dose to 100mg/w, will switch from test e to p and pin every day.
Guess that will do the thing.
