23 Gauge quad injection

I'll make this short. I've got no 25gauge needles left and the chemist I go to won't be getting any in until monday.

How far into the quad should you inject with a 23 gauge needle?

I'm not interested in any other injection site at the moment so I'm not looking for answers like ' Why not just go in the glutes'?

I dont think the gauge of the needle is really going to matter with how deep you go, it will just increase your chance of hitting a nerve thats why people tend to go with a 25g needle. As for how deep, just go 1 inch as you would with a 25gauge needle.

The gauge size is how big around the pin is !!!!
A 21-23 gauge will be fine for a quad injection and like WMU said go in at least 1" or deeper if you've got high BF%......

I shoot my quads with a 23 1.5 stick, only hit a nerve a few times--Feels weird and made my neck jump--

I've tried using slin pins for quad injections with no problems. If you're lean enough under 10%bf or so give it a go.

Ouch! I would recommend using a 25 gauge....my quads kill me every time I hit em.

hey man I always use a 23g 1in in my legs just go all the way with the one inch infact I have never used any differnt gauge of pin the only place I like to shoot is my legs or ass

you would need paper thin skin for a 5/8 slin pin to be even close to deep enough in a muscle. 1.5" pins all the way around for me except chest and tris, that gets 1"

How do you get the oil through a slin pin ???? also IMO thats not deep enough into the muscle ....
It's tough enough some times to get it through a 25 gauge..

I use 22 guage 1.5 inch for glutes and 22 guage 1 inch for quads.

I go really, really , really slow, takes about 90 seconds. I inject it in between the part that separates the quads from the hamstrings.

That will work bro, I havent seen the 1 1/4 inch length, i use the 1.5 inch with no probs.

most of my injections were quad and i used 23 gauge didnt hurt one bit i used a 1 inch

I normally use 25 g, 5/8 for my quads and delts. You can even use a 1 1/2 just go half way, but yeah 25g is always best and a lot less painful.
