24week cycle log

Decided to try and log this cycle and feel input is always appreciated. I’m approaching 4 weeks in right now and up to 217lbs at 5’10”. Starting weight was 214. Plan was/is. To ramp up my calls and hold at 3500 for 10-12weeks and then work on recomp/cut. This will be adjusted if I start gaining a lot of fat and can no longer see an outline of the abs.

Measurements 2/26
Neck:16.5
Shoulders:51.5
Arms:17 and 17.5
Waist: 34 at naval
Quads: 24”

Workouts are upper lower split with 20 minutes of inclined treadmill upon waking.

Anabolics:
750mg test
500 bold
250 deca
12000mg injectable Carnitine

At week 10 I’ll drop the deca and add 50mg var preworkout and possibly 300 primo depending on estradiol. Maybe 100 tren if the wife agrees to deal with my shit.

I originally was going to stick with 500mg test but labs this week showed a test level around 1800 and estradiol of 19. That’s low for me on 500mg so with current supplies from singular supplier I’m gonna add another 250 and recheck 1april or so.

I’m a heavy yogurt eater and basically eat a tub of Greek unflavored yogurt daily with a dab of honey and granola adjusted for carb goals. Then a pound of 90/10 beef with rice and veggies make up my other basics. Breakfast post cardio is three eggs on Dave’s bread with an apple and banana. Loads of potassium and fiber lol.


It’s legs and arms day today with smith squats, leg extensions and leg curl, high jumps, , calf work. Arms include cable French press, cable curl

I Actually add chia/hemp to my rice but it’s hard to figure actual servicing since I make so much at a time. I also replace 2/3 of the water in my rice with chicken bone broth for added collagen in the diet
 
labs from yesterday. Im normally around 3k on 500mg test.as i have a bunch of it from this same supplier ill add another shot per week.Screenshot 2023-02-28 062654.png
 
Great leg day today. Managed three sets 8-10 reps on the smith squat @ 270. Cable curls and cable French presses at 140 on the cable stack with push downs and rope curls for down sets. Post workout meal in (8oz beef/4pz spinach/1 cup jasmine rice) while preparing for this weeks meals

Down on weight today… think I’m gonna add some more calories in this week. Fasting glucose was 91 on wake-up today before cardio.added a bit of protein as recommended above:

Some progress photos. Honestly I really feel like I’ve just put previous size back on that I lost thus far, gonna add some more calls and shoot for around 3500 non training days and 4k on training days for now.

It’s Sunday and another week in. Here where the diet is currently;

Training days I’m around 4000 calories with more carbs and some more fats:

Also going to change my injection frequency to daily with 1cc syringes. I’m getting way to much tightness in my glutes pinning three times a week. I added another cc of test this past week and currently running:
750mg test
250 deca
500 bold

Added an animal meal shake post workout to get my calories up and bridge the gap from gym to meal as it’s like 35min to the gym.

Not putting much fat on so that’s a positive. Gonna push to 5k cals by end of month on training days and 4500 non training days and keep pushing.

Question? what made you decide to go with Deca instead of NPP and why bold for the bulk? Pondering my own 24 slow build cycle!

Never used NPP and deca is tried and true. Plus given the long cycle time ester half life isn’t a concern for me. I know what deca has done to me before psychologically as I used it with test previously; never used npp. Plus stan had thrown in some extra deca on an order and it was in the sock drawer.

As far as my compound selection and logic:
1. I used well studied and known compounds. I have done a bold and test cycle before and done a deca/primo/test cycle. So I stick with what I know at doses I have been exposed to. Only variable that’s new is the combo of bold and deca.

2. I liked what bold did for my appetite as I struggle to eat much beyond 3000 cals of clean food when watching my macros. I planned to bulk so I may need( as evidenced by my weights so far) to eat momuch more than that. Also deca negatively impacted my cardio previously, this has been offset some by the bold.

3. I mixed bold and deca because I wanted to tag the progesterone receptor but did not want to run deca higher than 500 and bold was used to keep estrogen in check at a reduced cost and less irritable choice of primo. Dht drugs make me a bit snappy and bold does not. My estrogen is in range so I feel the choice was the right one.

Overall if I wasn’t gonna run primo to cut I would have put that in vs bold. But bold costs less and I can change the compounds up after week 24 to cut.

Perhaps the better term would have been well known; assuming one discharges personal experiences and lab work in lieu of research studies; which unfortunately are often manipulated or just problematic in their approaches/methods.. I feel like It’s been used by pros and amateurs for a long time and I feel like it’s a safer chocie than something more toxic or exotic. But if it doesn’t jive with u then use another compound. I personally don’t see any kidney stress in my lab work when using bold and it’s effect on my hct has been fairly benign; this mirrors what I’ve seen from many people via bloodwork and urine studies as well. I would use primo but cost and injection volume tend to be problematic for me
 
No update recently as i was sick as shit this past week with the crud. mucus production was a bitch with all the eating but hey gotta make it through.

Diet:
Hi/mid/low carb cycling has been great. High carb days im at 4k cals and around 650gr carbs. Mid carbs around 400 and 3500-3700 calks and low carb days are around 200gr carb and around 3500 cals.

Weight: Today clocked in at 215.4. Trending a bit up and obviously up higher post hi carb days.

Training: Still following a four day split and using renaissance periodization's four day training split template. Planned deload in a couple of weeks.

Anabolics: I have dropped the deca this past week as im holding too much water and feeling lethargic . I am instead going to add another shot of Bold weekly. So thats 750 test/750 bold. Using steroid plotter Im going to front load it a touch to get serum concentrations up based on new dose. Plan is to run that until June when ill start a 20 week cut/contest prep
 
Another new week and progress to be made. Body seems to like the high/mid/low carb days as body weight is actually moving a bit and I feel physique continues to tighten up.

this was this morning after fasted cardio. Hope to get to 225 before cutting.

Todays a high carb day and here’s a rundown of that typically looks like for me.

0500 fasted cardio
0600 1/2 high carb shake:
2banana, 2ybs honey, 2cups oats, 2cups milk, 2 scoops protien

0800: second half of shake

1000-1100: first meal. Usually 4 oz chicken with 2 cups white rice and some veggies

Post workout: I usually do a whole chicken sub from subway as it’s right next to gym, is easy and adds needed sodium to diet.

two to three hours later it’s another chicken and rice meal

Then I fit a whole container of Greek yogurt in with about 1.5cups granola in across two more meals.

Works out to around 4400 cals which is bit higher than what I wanted to be at but seems to be good. I adjust my cals from 3k-3500 on low carb weekend days depending on how I look
