2nd, what's your Body-fat %, if you're over like 15%, then you really need to dial
the diet in. Try a food journal for starters (lots of good info here on diet).
Now, your closer to being ready, the previous comments about running the Test
higher than the Deca, is the way you want to go. Even with joint issues,
you don't want to front load the Deca.
I'll be 61 come February, I 'am just starting my cut cycle, but I started with your exact cycle, early last summer.
Your going to see a big increase in strength, mentally, I felt bulletproof in the Gym. I set a lot of personal bests in all my lifts (power-lifted in the 70s).
I put on like 18 lbs in 2 1/2 weeks. I was eating 250 grams + of Protein every day. That's why I said that you need to get an "Eating Journal". If you don't keep track of what you eat and when, you'll wind up putting on a lot of extra fat.
Also, you may not have this problem. I got one hell of a "sweet tooth", when I started. I see that you jog, I would suggest "wind sprints" instead. There far superior at melting fat. There's a few ways that they can be implemented.
I wish you the best.............................................................JP
