A Southern Yankee's Winter Blast

I love monsters? But some reason coffee gives me much more of a kick then any energy drink it's kinda odd? Anyone have any reasoning?
You look young so your probably a big monster drinker. It builds tolerance just like any thing else.

After 10yrs driving professionally and 1,000,000 miles coffee has run its course with me. My tolerance is high. I recognize this and use monsters sparingly. They are awesome

I've cut the monsters and red bull. To expensive compared to coffee. You did nail the young part lol 28 I feel like 30 is closing in super fast though [emoji29]

Nevermind then. Were close in age. Folks in the early 20s drink monster like water. I made an assumption and I was wrong

I hear you man! Just turned 29..

Sugar free NOS is quite enjoyable also but nothing beats code 2 imo..more the taste and satisfaction than energy for me

Nothing beats coffee as a morning kick start. Its as routine and normal to billions of people.

I used to dig a morning smoke too. With my coffee of course. Problem is my addictive personality. If I buy a pack and promise to only smoke one in the AM I know full well it wont stop with one

Long haulers always have bowel troubles. My uncle and brother drive long haul and both are in fairly good shape, eat well, but their always bond up. Dealing with assholes on the road and sitting that much would most likely lend to that.

This dymatize powder just keeps surprising me. I love it. Bar none best powder I ever had. I got mint chocolate this time. Ive tried all the flavors so far except cookies n cream. Thats next;)

If i add milk to my mint chocolate powder it tastes just like thin mint girl scout cookies. Unreal! Its like its not even protein. Best of all only 1g sugar per serving!

My mexican friend took a tour of the dymatize plant which Is produced locally and he was impressed with their QC. No fillers.

I buy the $55 dymatize elite. Which is a blend of concentrate and isolate

They sell the pure isolate for $80. Ouch.

Both are the industrial size 5 lb tub

I had to try this myself, and it is fucking awesome!!

Cost me $10 more..Rich chocolate on the way, it was $50.

$115 for 10lbs

Fudge chocolate is the best in my opinion.

Dymatize cant be touched for taste. How can they do all that flavor with such small sugar servings?

Idk Stevia, I guess, that shit is sweet!! Plus it doesn't have aspartame, which is good.

I remember using Designer Protein and it was horrible, drank it w/ spoiled milk one time didn't even realize it was spoiled until I looked at the date, I was just use to slamming it and knew it tasted like shit.

the date doesn't mean spoiled. the milk being soured means the milk is spoiled. I've drank milk passed the date and the milk wasn't soured. all in how the milk is stored and how often the milk gets warmed up and cooled back down. that determines how fast your milk spoils.

That sounds good and... completely satisfying

Tuesday is first session of the week
In my quest to 19's im now training arms 2x weekly

Today CHEST & BICEPS

24 sets total chest
8 sets biceps

I tried my best to stay away from agonizing failure for a change. Conducting an experiment. I wanna see if I switch training methods I can see new EXPLOSIVE growth!

Pec dec flyes
flat guillotine press
hammer incline press
cable flyes

Standing ez bar curls
machine preacher curls

I like to pre stretch the fascia of my pecs with flyes before heavy guillotine presses. Then again after press work is done. I do it instinctively. I never get my workout plan from a book.

The big change in technique going to guillotine presses is coming along nicely. Im working sets with 205 now. Pressing to neck region. Elbows flared. The trick is to flex the traps to prevent injury and compress the weight.

Biceps takes a fair amount of concentration. Make sure your pulling with the bicep muscle and not throwing the stress on another group.

Currently week 5 and test is here and alive. My stomach is leaning out and hunger is up. More veins and better pumps. Im glad the dbol is gone. Now im just waiting for the deca to show its face

What's your major lift maxes brother

Deadlift bench and squat?
I dont deadlift any more. Well I did the other day just to see If I could. Warmed up and pulled 405 no problem. But thatll be it for another 10yrs :)

I have a herniated disc and deadlifting regularly WILL break me down

Recently tried max in squat, 425. Bad form allowed me to fail on 455 but I got the leg drive for it. The lumbar is the issue

Bench. No idea. I haven't attempted a max in at least a decade. My last max on bench was about 2002ish I was still in high school. I got 315 then. Im MUCH bigger now so it must be higher.

Other than pure numbers I dont find one rep max useful at all in BUILDING muscle. You do realize Arnold couldn't press 405. According to Rick Draisin any way. Wouldn't you say arnold had awesome pec development?

As long as im respectable in my numbers I couldn't really care less what my big 3 are. And I mean that

After 10yrs driving professionally and 1,000,000 miles

You've backup more miles than I have drove, and I'm older.

I hate when I show my stupidity:oops:, I meant soured over a month past date.

And I even proof read that bitch a few times.

Don't mean to fuck with your log @gr8whitetrukker.

Its alright @Seven Dog im glad to have some participation up in here otherwise it would be lonely

It would be an impossible task to match a trukkers road experience. It IS what we do. The avg person clocks 15-20k miles per year. I do over 100,000 miles a year in the rig alone. Not to mention my pov.

I figure I save more lives every day than a an ems squad could save in a year. Ya no joke think about it
