AAS use in Modeling

We have all heard the saying that anyone who uses their body for money is on some sort of PED or AAS. I want you guys' opinions on this. I've always kinda wanted to be an underwear model as it can pay well. Do any of you know of instances of specific aas testing in the modeling industry. I don't know about their protocol on that stuff so any insight would be helpful, and your opinions on general about aas use in Modeling. Thanks guys

My buddy used to model for a fairly prominent organization and some well known sports brands, he never used AAS. Other drugs on the other hand, fairly regularly. I think maybe models in the sports industry like that of Mens Fitness or something possibly, but not your average Calvin Klein or Adidas model. Also of note, he never got drug tested at any of his gigs as they are considered independent contractors.

So what other drugs other than aas? Are we talking about like clen, or those kinds of fat loss drugs.

I think something like this is basically unheard of. AAS would be the least of anyone's concerns in the modeling industry. Something like cocaine is much more of an issue...

Cocain, wow. Oh, and eating cotton balls to stay thin

I thought I'd try my hand at underwear modeling once
Turned out...
I was too fat and too hairy:oops:
Well I don't mind shaving what little amount of body hair I have, but I do tend to get really lean after swim season and through summer. But if they aren't going to drug test that would be wonderful

For the record I don't know for sure man. But never in my life have heard of any testing for models. Half of them are alcoholic's or addicts. And yes Aas testing is expensive.

Nah he didn't use anything for appearance. He just has great genetics and is good looking. But he parties a lot, Mollie, coke etc. it's a rough gig to break into unless you really are far above average looking.

I did some modeling back in the early 90's for some magazines and they didn't care what I was on-- No drug tests. However, I remember it was a huge pain in the ass, I was required under contract to be a certain weight, height, bf %. If you don't meet the recs, you don't get paid. Weekly BF% check.. It sucked, but I was in my late 20's then, wasn't too hard to stay under 10%. If you can stay in shape and control your diet, its easy money...

As a female in modeling, and I know the same goes for the males I end up working with...as long as you look good and exactly as they want you to look the day of shoot, they don't care how you got there. I have never once even heard the phrase "drug testing" in this industry.

i dont wear underwear...my career took a drastic turn quickly. As it turns out though stripping is much more profitable anyways.

I appreciate the input, maybe modeling is something I'm going to be looking for here coming up. Man, I would love it if I walked into like underarmour and my abs were on for some underwear!

LOL if you don't try, you will never know. If you have the complete package - face, body and the right appeal, you can get some good paying jobs. It's very stressful though. It's not as easy as it looks. For example, I had only 8 weeks to bulk up for Reebok's crossfit line as I had the right "appeal" and "look" - (I already thought I would be too small but I was convinced to go in anyway) they loved me but needed more size as crossfit is more along the lines of "bulkier" girls that are closer to physique competitors than figure...needless to say, they said yes, I went through the whole process to find out in the end that I actually ended up looking too small. So it can be quite demanding and sometimes the things you do aren't enough.

Also.... gay modeling pays A LOT... there is a huge demand for it, even fetish modeling...
