Abnormal EKG

I've had heart rhythm issues off and on my entire life. I used to freak the fuck out, now I just ride them out. I've always had good BP. Stress and stimulates, lack of sleep and consecutive days of drinking usually can trigger mine.

I woke up after a night of hard drinking to my heart beating like five fast beats, followed by a five second pause, then a hard beat and then five fast beats, REPEAT. Lasted for about two hours and was unnerving and uncomfortable, but eventually they go away and my heart returns to normal. I have no idea how realistically dangerous a rhythm like this is, as I've had them many times my entire life and I'm still here. One day maybe it will get bad and I'll go that way. But from my research, USUALLY this sort of thing is harmless.

Abnormal rhythms can be VERY dangerous. Have you ever been evaluated by an EP? Or do you just feel weird rhythms?
It's not something to just avoid. You could pass out, stroke out from a clot, heart attack. Those are just a few issues. Tread lightly man.

I know people that spend some time in the hospital when this happens, I would consider an ER visit if it happens again. Or at least mentioning it to a dr and getting some feedback before it happens again.
