About to run my first cycle, looking for pointers

since people are still responding I’ll update everyone and say that obviously everyone was right.

I ordered some test-e and tried going with 300mg a week pinning twice and after my second shot I started having a handful of side affects that scared me into not doing it anymore. I’m going to hit the gym hard for a year or more and start doing it right and get a doctors supervision and recommendations when ready.

Question though, how do I find a doctor that will help me with all this? Do I just go to my primary care and tell them I wanna run a cycle? Or do I just get all my bloodwork done and they will guide me from there?

Thanks a ton to everyone who’s taken the time to reply, I know I’m going into this with a bad approach and all the help is really putting me on the right path.

Please tell us what the handful of side affects you had after your second 150mg pin or 100mg pin? Depending on if you were still doing 3 pins or 2pins a week.

headaches, increased overall heart rate, slight discomfort in my pelvic area, and it was affecting my cardio at work which is crucial cause I’m a subcontractor and work doing window and door installs all day.

My wife is a surgeon and knows medicine really well but obviously this isn’t her specialty but she tends to think it’s the preservatives more than the actual test that my body isn’t agreeing with but it was enough to make stop for sure.

It’s common to get sort of flu like symptoms when you first administer AAS. Though honestly, some of this stuff sounds like it is in your head. That said, you are going to experience side effects of some sort, and if you aren’t willing to endure some of that, this may not be the game for you. Like for me, I don’t get mood effects, libido or sexual issues, or flu symptoms, but I get spicy nipples like no one’s business when I don’t maintain consistent blood levels, meaning any time I change doses.

That’s what she was saying actually too, a lot of it could be just me stressing over it in combo with my body trying to cope with something new.

I had one bad episode where I felt like my heart was gonna jump out of my chest the day after but it was also after probly the most intense leg day I’ve done in a long time.

What was concerning me the most was the feeling of losing my cardio

I guess if you will feel like you're not ready for something, it's better to take a step back then to dive in regardless. Maybe you will use that time to better prepare yourself for the future cycle or even decide against using steroids. Good or bad experience still counts.

There are way more experienced people here than me, but I feel confident saying that two Test E shots are not going to cause you a cardiovascular event lol that has got to be in your head.

What’s your disposable income like? I suggest you call up one of the many TRT clinics and get started there. It’ll be expensive, but you’ll have a doctor who can put your mind at ease about all this simple stuff.

I currently am enrolled with Defy. They do blood work every 6-9 months which allows me to do a full cycle if my blood work comes back solid and then taper down before my next ‘official’ bloods.

TRT would let you express a bit of that super-soldier-serum desire while you learn and prepare yourself for the real gamma radiation shit.

First Cycle. Start off slow. 250 test a week will take you far with less side effects.
Get blood work. Pay attention and listen to your body. Supplements are no joke. It’s a big decision to hop on gear. But test alone will constitute solid gains. 100%

This is 100% anxiety. 2 pins and you're having this side effects.....too early for flu and other sides that are coming later (4 weeks maybe).

Yeah you're definitely placeboing out. I don't even think you'd have estrogen related sides after just two pins. The test wouldn't even be saturated in your system after just two pins, so it's definitely all in your head

As for TRT--go to your primary and get blkodwork. If your test levels are low, they'll reccomend you go see an endocrinologist. And the endo usually prescribes it.
