Accutane Dosing

I'm considering running an accutane cycle and need some dosing advice. I used it years ago and it worked great. I seem to remember that I was using over 100mg/ED. I had bad acne back then. Its not near as bad now, but still bothersome. Can you get good results with 20mg or 40mg ED? Will lowering the dose cause less stress to the liver? Is frontloading with high dosage and then lowering to a maintenance level a good idea. I appreciate any and all responses. Thanks.

I used 40mg EOD and it tore me to shreds, nose bleeds, dry skin, cracking bleeding skin. I would rather suffer throw the acne then do accutane again. maybe 20mg EOD that should help alot then if you dont see a change bump it up to 20mg ED. make sure you dont stay out in the sun, i made the mistake and got 2nd degree burns on my ears. My skin was peeling off in layers when i touched it. Be careful accutane is no joke!!!

i would definately start on a low dose 20-40mg.too much or frontloading will cause a bad initial breakout because the body responds to accu by pruducing more oil at first.a lower dose will work out moe evenly.it also goes by bodywieght, its a acculmalative sorry i cant spell, dose over a duration of 20weeks.

last accutane cycle I did was under doctor supervision. 60mg per day. I'm a small guy (165#). It caused my skin to dry out, gave me some nose bleeds (use anti-biotic ointment and stick it in your nose...it really helps).

It's brutal on the liver...I'd be careful stacking this with certain liver-toxic orals. Or at least get some liver tests done once a month...
