Accutane permanent cure?

probably individual like everything else but my LDL actually dropped on accutane. I think the worries are overblown and I believe Ghoul said as much at least once.

take 5mg accutane often - but i just mean generally speaking i wouldn’t have researched:
- repatha
- ezetimibe
- berberine
- pitavastatin
- tirzepatide
- retatrutide
- cildinipine
- oral minoxidil
- ivermectin
- bempedoic acid
- citrus bergamot
- micro dosing accutane
- ldl, hba1c, bp, & hs-crp

Just got first bloods in, about 3 weeks. On 500TC 150NPP. LDL jumped to 160, Triglycerides up from 60 to 100, HDL 43, AST 22 ALT 24 GGT 28. PT/inr is unremarkable. All liver values went down from baseline, I stay on Tudca nac milk thistle and 200mg gluta 2x a week year round. Only increased NAC since starting.

Edit: Most importantly, in my opinion doubled my EPA/DHA from 2g to 4g daily. Triglyceride form fish oil, using sport research from costco currently.

Feels - dryer than a bitch. Have just about resolved the side of mouth cracking, neglected my nose for a couple days and the point where my nostril connects with cheek cracked open. That was a fun one.

Currently 6 40mg a a day split dose. These were manufactured 9/25. Three days left and the remaining 20ish grams all are 11/25mfg. Will be interesting to see if there is noticeable difference. After a week of the newer ones, may dabble up to 260-280 for a few weeks.

Day 1-3 80mg
Day 4/6 120mg
Day 7-9 160mg
Day 10-12 200mg
Day 13-22(current) 240mg

Nothing shocking or unexpected, hopefully this gives some information to anyone currently on or thinking about it.

this would shock me. those values are terrible for such a moderate stack. I'm cruising on 300 TC, 150 deca and 100 tren and my LDL is 76, trigs 30.

Your LDL should qualify you for at least prescription fishoil. Talk to your doctor. Get on a statin and ezetimibe. You're headed down a terrible path if you don't find those numbers concerning.

Yep, starting ezetimibe tomorrow. More so meant, overall results were better than I was expecting. Already have another panel set to run 3 weeks time

Damn, dude. Based on what I've seen in this thread (and what I've experienced so far (ending week 5 right now at 160mg/day)), you seem to be going all-in with that dosage schedule. Are you concerned at all about lag and dryness level catching up to your dose and being too much to handle?

is that even effective to dose that high? I mean there's gotta be a limit somewhere otherwise why not just do 20k mg over a weekend and get it over with?

It'll be a spectrum where there's an ideal dose and then effectiveness tapers on either side of that.

For a 100kg (220 pound) dude who's shooting for 220mg/kg total, it'll still take three months at 240mg/day. That's going to still be somewhere in the effective range.

The big question is: does that person get better overall results than someone who took 120mg/day for six months. What about the monster who takes 480mg for six weeks?

I don't know the answer and am basically just talking to hear myself talk.

I've read one or two 6 month courses of Accutane can permanently cure acne in a lot of cases.

Has this worked permanently for anyone with steroid induced acne?

I suspect a permanent cure isn't for the steroid induced type, but I'd like to know if it's worth a try given the nasty sides or just stick to Doxycycline, which is effective and no sides but temporary.
microdose 10 mg eod or 5mg daily forever. basically 0 side effects

"Forever" is probably right. This is the opposite of the 24000mg in a weekend dose and will probably help while you're on it but I wouldn't expect to have the same lasting effects as someone who completed a full cycle at 80mg/day and then stops at the cumulative goal.

Ya, that's the maintenance dose post clearance. It's supposed to be great for keeping your skin glow but you could never reach clearance on it.
