"Medroxyprogesterone acetate is a more widely used synthetic progestogen. Medroxyprogesterone reduced production of cytokines and serotonin that are involved in anorexia/cachexia in cancer patients.251 Two placebo-controlled randomized studies have been reported in which increased appetite resulted.252,253 In one study, significant increases in rapid turnover proteins such as serum thyroid-binding prealbumin and retinol-binding protein were reported.252 In spite of increased appetite, no weight gain was produced in either study."

I suppose this is an example of how a progestin can reduce cachexia or improve nutrient partitioning.
Look I'm not really trying to prove anything here or whatever just trying to demystify trenbolone to make it seem less special.
There is nothing magick going on here. Just some blocking of catabolism and some strong anabolic signalling. The nutrient partitioner thing is basically blocking a very important part of the metabolic process.
This explains in part why tren makes you go hypoglycemic or crave carbs. It's stopping you from being able to raise your blood sugar levels. Probably where the tren rage comes from. Chronic low blood sugar levels that peak cortisol. Combine this with reduced sleep and less sympathetic tone and you get rage.
