It seems everyone gets a script for it. And most of the people who sell are just reselling what their doctors prescribed to them.

I really don't understand why Adderall use is relatively socially-acceptable especially when compared to drugs like AAS.
It's definitely not due to the difference in addictive potential.
I think its related to the number of people who have used any given drug.
The people who voted to legalize marijuana in Colorado and Washington didn't do so because they are drug reformers. They did so largely because they have first-hand experience with the drug. They voted based on personal experience rather than principle.
It's why alcohol isn't a big deal in spite of the costly societal harm.
And probably why Adderall isn't a big deal for most people. Its prescribed for teens regularly. And maybe even more frequently for college students. And practically any adult can successfully request it from their doctor (or an Adderall-using friend's doctor).
But steroid users - they are still a relatively small number compared to users of the "accepted" drugs.

because back when i had insurance i was diagnose with adhd and they prescribe me adderall but i been without insurance for almost a year now and i cant afford insurance right now thats why i was thinking it would be cheaper buying it online.

I think psychologists over-pathologize. Doesn't almost everyone function better on Adderall? It doesn't mean that it necessarily treats a disorder.
Oh please, how many times have I heard that BULLSHIT Going to your doctor, paying his fee outright, and obtaining the script, will still be much cheaper than obtaining a schedule II substance illegally. I've also heard stories like, "my dog ate the script", "my 2 year old flushed it down the toilet", "the lawn mover ate it", "I lost it while skiing", "my addicted son used it". Hmm I wonder, what was the genesis of that problem, lol!

I no Dr's here in the City that only take Cash just 4 this reason.. Polish town on the North Side I can walk in 150$ and leave with Oxy's / Addy's / 2mg Xanax. Fucking anything. yeah but thats if you abuse adderall if u follow doctors directions u should be fine. plus dr jim i understand u talking facts and i dont take away everything u know but u criticize adhd patients unless u walk in our shoes u will not understand. u dont know what is like to not be able to pay attention in school. and be behind your classmates. being bullied for being dumb. people that dont have adhd will never understand. that is my opinion.

Adderal is a horrible drug. I had a good friend in high school who was on it for supposed ADHD and now he is just a meth addict. He said it works better. Last I heard he was in jail for robbing a house. Prescription mess are the most abused of any drug. They lead people to other things too. I guess some people may actually need them but most people I know on psych mess abuse the hell out of them.
well yea if u abuse it, it is going to be hell. but thats with any drug if u abuse a pain killer is not a pain killer no more. the thing is people that abuse prescription drugs makes real people that need the prescription look bad. the only thing i dont agree with is for people to say that adhd is for lazy people. because i dont agree with that. I know im not lazy and i know im not dumb. That is what i know about my self. but i do respect dr jims facts and knowledge. I just have a opinion of my own.
