Advice from fellow old guys, new to PED

Not on test now. Based on symptoms and huge overlap with hypothyroid I did order some bloodwork through a trt clinic. I was ready to jump on if needed, but looking at the results It's not needed. There are some worrying things but overall things look good:

Total Test: 582
Estradiol: 36.3
LH: 7.9
SHBG: 36.6

Blood pulled at 1:30pm

Free T wasnt tested, didnt realize until after I got the bloodwork results. Appointment with the clinic is next week, but I dont think I am in a hurry to jump on. Mostly just looking to help speed things up some....aint getting younger and while I could just workout for the next decade and stay natty to get where I want to be....I'll be pushing 60 at that point. I'd rather speed things along where possible to try and enjoy things while I'm still young enough to enjoy them.

Edit: BTW: the overlapping symptoms are low endurance, fatigue, muscle soreness, muscle weakness, slow recovery, etc. I got concerned because last TSH reading was 0.60 and Free T4 was at 1.89. So the thyroid was optimized; but thyroid issues can inhibit T levels as well. So, went down the rabbit hole.
Blood work looks good for what you tested. Especially thyroid. What was your t3 value and t3 uptake?
What are your stats currently? Height weight exact age if i missed it.
Im thinking though that a cal deficit till u take off that last little bit of weight you talked about, then maintain there for about 6 months lifting regularly ....Then do a first cycle.

Hi guys! Really looking to kind of make up for lost time after fitness goals being put on hold for over a decade. Health issues derailed my first real commitment in my early 30's to try and get as muscular as I could. The health issues are hypothyroidism and arthritis. Thyroid issues took away strength, created severe pain in hands and wrists, which halted most everything I was doing; and also threw a bunch of weight on me. Then just as that was getting under control I started working out again, and got similar symptoms and wound up finding out that was arthritis which was a lot trickier to get properly under control. Both issues are optimized now and well under control and I've been working out for just under 2 years consistently now, just over a year in the gym with more equipment than I have at home.

I'm looking for advice more on what I should avoid. From the research I've done and advice from people in my life, I'll be on a test base, but trying to look online most of the youngs seem to think it's dumb for older folks to even consider PEDs. So not really much good info. And everything I seem to be warned against, I've actively seen examples of others doing well on into their 50's.

So, at this point is there anything I should actively avoid due to age, or is it the same trial and error and see what works that everyone in their teens and 20's goes through?

Specifically the gear I have now is Test E 250, Primo 100, Anavar 10mg tabs, Anadrol 50mg tabs. Obviously not all on one cycle and not planning on any for a while. I've been contemplating Deca/NPP but real conflicting info about using that as an old guy. I'm also planning on lowest dose that does something for me, so I'm not planning on going crazy with the dosing.

Any advice?
Age: 50
Height/Weight/BF: 5’11”, 189 lbs, ~19% BF
Phase: Modified cut

Been on TRT for just over a year. Increased dose and monitored how my body adapted before starting this cycle. So far, bloods look solid.

Current Cycle: July 1 – Sept 30 (12 weeks)

Test C: 500 mg/wk

Primo E: 200 mg/wk

Mast E: 300 mg/wk

D-bol: 40 mg/day (switching to T-bol 30 mg/day starting Monday for final weeks)

HGH: 3 IU/day (2 IU AM, 1 IU PM)

Diet is structured keto from a meal-prep service. Training is 4×/week functional/strength + 2× ruck cardio. Goal is to lean out while maintaining strength and performance.

Latest bloods:

Total Test: 2,920 ng/dL

Free Test: 91.2 pg/mL

Estradiol (E2): 35 pg/mL

Hematocrit: 48%

LDL: 74 mg/dL

HDL: 53 mg/dL

Triglycerides: 82 mg/dL

AST: 24 U/L

ALT: 26 U/L

Creatinine: 1.05 mg/dL

Next steps: Likely a 2-month cruise at 100 mg/wk Test + HGH before starting my next cycle, which will keep Test at 500 mg/wk, Primo at 200 mg/wk, add Mast E at 300 mg/wk, and run NPP at 200 mg/wk for added joint and connective tissue support. Orals will be decided closer to start.

My endo stopped looking at T3/rT3 a few years ago after a year solid of those holding steady with stabilized T4 intake. So they only look at Free T4 and TSH. On my own, just before I jump on cycle I'll be doing a full baseline which will include Free T3, RT3 and T3 uptake.
