Aggressive cut refeeds

Yes a refeed can definitely be productive while in an aggressive cut. The key tho is to focus on carbs while keeping fat minimal (no added fats).

The goal of the refeed is to hack the body's metabolism to partition the additional food to glycogen stores and not fat. Also may help in keeping metabolism from down regulating and increase/ sustain gym performance.

I'm a month into contest prep and have been refeeding once a week on 1000+ g of carbs and still dropping 1-2 lbs a week with no cardio. On my refeeds, fat is kept to trace fats (~20g for the day) and protein is lowered to 200 (from 275). Everything is pushed to carbs (frosted flakes, cream of rice, jasmine rice, sourdough bread, maple syrup and honey).

If everything is clicking, don't be surprised if your hungrier on refeed days than low days. This is a good sign!
Yup one thing I’ve learned is when the body is truly hungry, like your waking up in the middle of the night feel like your starving to death hungry you should feed it. And when you do you usually feel and look a lot better afterwards and it helps progress while also keeping the diet more sustainable

Keep fats as low as possible, protein medium to low, carbs as high as I can. Body just soaks up all the water and glycogen and extra carbs also get hot and can sweat lol. If you eat pizza and burgers and fries it doesn’t work as well snd you feel awful the night of or morning after. Look up skip loading

Since we’re on the subject of food. Anyone got any simple quick and easy high protein breakfasts? For cutting and for bulking. My breakfast is decent, but eh I’d rather replace it with something else.

8 oz liquid egg whites mixed with 50 grams chocolate whey = 63 grams of protein. Can down it in a few slugs and it won't piss off the GLP-1 Gods.

Cook it if you need something filling and top it with powdered peanut butter for a little more protein.
