ALA vs Berberine vs Metformin: WHICH Glucose Disposal Agent do u prefer and why?

i think these 3 substances are fairly cheap and easy to find, i mean... raw powders of met and berbe is quite cheap and i can find finished product (already in capsules) of ala (not r-ala) at a cheap price in my country.

so the battle is:
1- which one has the best overall gda/other benefits ratio?
2- which one is stronger as gda primary role?
3- which one is the safest on long term (less tolerance over time)?
4- difference in activity on increasing effect on single dose, does one of them work better with ED dosage instead of (for example) EOD dosage?

i only used ALA for the moment, not checked if worked to improve insulin resistance, i took only 5mg mk677 for 100 days and i just wanted to be sure. but at 500mg ALA daily i noticed a STRONG improvement of liquid sperm. Something like 3/4x my normal semen during ejaculation. (i also found a study confirming this action of ala)

but i am here to discover if someone has more info about met and berbe or other pros of ALA i am missing (i know it's also a wide spectrum antioxidant, but i still don't know HOW MUCH good is as GDA compared to the other 2 substances)

thank you

Hey, I know this is goin way back, but when you say ala, is that refering to alpha lipoic acid? I'm not up on all my acronyms (it is a lot to write each time).

Yes

Personally I think you should add cardio before adding any gda. That will be your healthiest option.

i use r-ala as it increases insulin sensitivity without disturbing the mtor pathway, which both berberine and metformin do. in short, mtor is the pathway for tissue building/growth, so its pretty important
