American HPLC tests?

Are there any viable US domestic HPLC testing facilities you guys have successfully used in the past? I’m interested in getting an HPLC test on some finished tablets, but I am a little wary of sending them out of the country through customs, having to wait and pay for shipping so far.

At one point I think there was another on this forum, weights and measures or something like that (I wasn’t a member then, but I’ve done some historical digging) but I don’t think it’s really possible to do this in the US due to drug laws.

It would be nice to have something US domestic because I just don’t like going through customs whenever possible.

Hopefully someone can chime in with a good response aside from just pushing you to use janoshik. (I’ve used him successfully in the past, but again… ya know… the whole customs thing would be nice to avoid)

If there are, they can probably only be found by knowing a friend of a friend.

With the archaic laws we have here the risk of ruining their careers to make a little side money with their knowledge and equipment isn't worth it to the vast majority i would reckon.

Yea that’s the thing, the feds would be all over something like that, I don’t know how you would even be able to set something like that up in the US without your client base being completely discrete.

If you do not have a DEA license they will not accept samples from you. Most also do not test controlled substances but the few that do are either owned by the police (think crime labs) or have a DEA license and only deal with other license holders like compounding pharmacies.

Back in the day we used to use a company called SRCS or San Rafael Chemical Services. They were US based if im not mistaken. However they got harassed by the DEA during operation Raw Deal, i believe they got raided and possibly lost their license due to aiding and abetting by testing raws. Im not sure if they ever got back into biz but you can try googling their name and seeing what comes up.
