Analyzer uncovered

This is definitely a reminder that we are playing a risky game. We speak so freely on here and order our stuff like we are on amazon ordering movies or something. It’s easy to get complacent when you get away with it so many times
I agree that can definitely be a problem. That said we all know what we are involving ourselves in and there can be consequences I feel bad for analyzer but he knew what he was getting involved in. I hope his consequences are not that bad.

It has always been my belief that anytime someone engages in using the facilities
of their educator/employer to handle (manufacture/test/experiment with) illegal substances, that it is only a matter of WHEN, not IF, they will get discovered doing so.

Over the years, we have had more than one would be UGL entrepreneur claim to have access to professional level laboratories, and expressing a desire to start selling AAS here. In 2014, I believe it was, we had a member here claiming that he was brewing AAS in his college lab at night "after everyone else was gone for the night" and seeking the approval of our community to start selling his gear. He was basically told that he was insane if he thought he could get away with that, and he abandoned his dreams after many members told him he was absolutely out of his mind for risking that.

It's unfortunate that Analyzer got so deep into this, but he is in trouble here.

It's always sad when someone who has done right by the community and provided a useful service - profit being made or not notwithstanding - gets tangled up.

The lesson here is one that is constantly repeated. Even if your intentions are simply to help, it is never worth it if you are risking your academic career or professional career to do it. It just demonstrates bad judgement at this point and I truly don't think greed is the primary motivator, I do think these people are to at least a small degree altruistic in their intentions.

See what happened to the university faculty member that the e-roids testing guy was using from a few years ago. The chemist was more than likely a nice guy who wanted to offer his services to a burgeoning online underground, but none of that matters because the general public and press will certainly portray them as a villain at the end of the day.

Never mind on contacting (name)analyzer to have stuffs check.

So anabolic labs is gone, or AL is different then analyzer

Thank you for clarity. I’ll track down the AL thread and find their costs-procedure as I didn’t see it on the sticky thread.

I'd try lab4tox as well.

After reading in the thread of the source who sent samples in I'll wait for thier results to get an idea of lab quality. I'd also need to find a way around sending the samples from USA for both labs, if even possible.

Too bad
If that's actually true,
it was because Agilent HPLC creates lots of backup files = trace left.
Probably someone else found them out.

It was pretty obvious Analyzer wasn't making a living out of testing.
Not even enough to cover the HPLC machine installments.
Again, too bad.

Actually, he probably was "making a living" off of the testing he was doing, when you consider:

A) "making a living" is a very subjective phrase
B) his operating expenses would have been extremely low, considering he was using facilities/equipment that he was not paying for!

"Making a living" as a college student is a very different experience than "making a living" as a big person in the real world. A college student, potentially on a scholarship living with limited bills/expenses/responsibilities, who is also rocking out 3 or 4 tests a day even at $75 each (does that sound right to the fellas who used him?), could certainly be "making a living".

Not arguing with you at all... just putting Analyzers' situation into perspective.
