Antibiotics & Heat or Ice?

Ok, so I went to the doc today cause my right glute is swelling, red, and hurting. Beginning to solidify as well. He said there's no abcess just yet but put me on strong antibiotics. I forgot to ask'em whether to ice it or heat it and now his office is closed. Any ideas? Thanks bro's.

Doc's known my family for years. Told the nurse it was from a spider bite, when he got in the room I told him straight out. He was suprisingly OK with it. Told me that while he'd rather not see me on them that if I was going to do it anyway he'd do all the blood levels and help me make sure everything was going OK. Even asked me if I was using any anti-e's. LOL so it went rather well.

Heat, good, that's what I've been doing up till now. Starting to feel better already after a few of the antibiotics.

wow, thats a first... Ive never heard of a gen doc knowing about anti-e's... last time I got close to bringing up the idea to my doc he lectured me for about 15 minutes durring which I had to correct him in like every sentence cuz he really didnt know waht he was talking about... well he vaugley knew but I thikn he was just trying to scare me or somthing. Good to hear there are some decent docs out there.

That's what happened when I told my doctor, He lectured me for about ten minutes. When I argued back he told me that I read to much. He did tell me that I would be to dangerous to give me a script because Doctors get audited and it would be too big of a hassle to prove that I needed it. If he got caught he could lose his license. I didn't even ask him for one so I thought that it was cool that he offered in a weird way. But it pissed me off that a educated man said that I read to much. I changed doctors
