Anxiety med non SSRI?

Wow! Nice work bruh. Did coming off the nic make the anxiety worse short term?
Lemme tell ya. The first 2-3 days I had some insane anxiety.
Borderline panic attacks / the absolutely dumbest anxiety “oh god I feel like I’m dying”

I was obviously completely fine.
Probably the worst thing was the brain fog, it took since I made this thread till about a few days ago to really go away. It’s like my brain couldn’t function or do basic tasks.

I take mirtazapine at its highest dosage 45mg. Is mirtazapine a ssri?
Mirtazapine, sold under the brand name Remeron among others, is an atypical tetracyclic antidepressant, and as such is used primarily to treat depression. Its effects may take up to four weeks but can also manifest as early as one to two weeks. It is often used in cases of depression complicated by anxiety or insomnia

Sorry for hijacking this thread lol

Day 4 Zoloft/Sertraline. Feeling good AF.

My brain's stopped looping and seeking resolution or direction. Just vibing.

The first 3 days of fatigue and mental effects were BRUTAL. Day 3 was the worse. Had to take 300mg of Modafinil to stay awake. Coffee tastes like literal bitter poison.

Anyway I feel like I don't need to engage with people or prove myself to anyone. Just do my own thing. Anyway let's hope it continues like this.

Hell yeah man. Few people I know have taken Zoloft and it completely changed them for the better. Just gotta stick with it!

I have agoraphobia which causes emetophobia lol.

I used to be someone that didn't believe in these anxiety things.
I was diagnosed because id avoid eating if:
1. I was gonna be in a car or bus with people afterwards 2. If I was gonna be in any room with people. 3. I'd need to eat at a restaurant and then leave quickly once I'm done.

If I stayed at a restaurant I would worry about puking. If I ate and was in a vehicle or room with people after, I would worry about puking. I basically needed to puke at a restaurant or before I was "trapped" in a room with people. That's what the problem was. I was worried that id puke because I was feeling trapped in a situation for people.
Lol I'm not even bothered by people.
The therapists and doctors all said agoraphobia and emetophobia.
I was like no way...
I started mirtazapine and was told 45mg is where is shines.
I litterally have no issues now with worrying about puking. A decade or more with this and its gone from mirtazapine.

Week 2 on Sertraline. Wow the fatigue from this stuff is pretty brutal. Modafinil doesn't seem to do much.

It's made me chilled out and relaxed but has nuked my energy. It's like the opposite of being "on" from steroids.

I actually feel relaxed like you do on vacation. I can't remember the last time I actually relaxed.

Sexual dysfunction is interesting. It's like tren almost where you can't climax and have a numb/insensitive penis. Anyway good with the bad I guess...

I like low dose (12.5 - 25 mg) quetiapine for anxiety / insomnia. It's an antipsychotic but at low dosages it's mostly helpful for anxiety / insomnia. Really need 300+ mg to treat anything major psychiatrically.

It's not habit forming and is very well tolerated at these dosages. That said I would def not taking it long term / every single night. First tried it on a flight to Australia. Worked very well for me. I always keep some on hand when I run tren, but i run such low dosages I never seem to need it.

That's so weird. I was prescribed sertraline back in 2000 - horrific experience for me. From day one it caused me extreme over stimulation and anxiety. Couldn't sleep, obliterated libido, but worst was the anxiety. I stuck it out several weeks but ended up calling my gp to ask if i should keep going to see if things improve. He said that by that point i should have started to feel something positive and that because i hadn't, should just stop. Which i did, cold tutkey. Then the real nightmare started for me. My god i didn't think things could get worse, but they did - even higher anxiety, and now on top of that, brain zaps. Before going on sertraline, i used to use ghb frequently. To try and get past these side effects, i started taking ghb again. This worked to a point (i couldn't feel the euphoria i used to feel from ghb, but it stopped the extreme anxiety). I ended up though having to re-dose the ghb every 2hrs just to keep the previous side effects at bay. Ended up having to confess to the doc what a state i'd got into. He prescribed me a few weeks worth of valium, which thankfully got me through things. I'd personally rather eat glass than ever touch an ssri again. Glad it's working for you though.

I have tons of patients with mild anxiety symptoms that we get excellent control with good quality phytoterapics , my favorites is lemon balm ( Melissa) , chamoumille, and mulungu . ( all of them very popular and cheap here in Brazil )

Got some mulungu on the way, heard it lowers RHR too?

Yeah man that sucks. I haven't had any issues with mental health or used hard drugs before.

The only issues I have with this drug is delayed ejaculation and fatigue. Occasionally I get a bad night's sleep due to nightmares etc

I get nausea after taking it as well. But it's bearable. I definitely think it works for stopping rumination etc

Since i´m also on nebivolol , i don´t feel it exactly. Anyway as any gabaergic adrenaline blocker this is expected
Any trusted brands that ship to USA? The stuff I ordered is coming from Croatia or something, taking forever

Try l-tryptophan it relaxes you plus reduces the build up of lactic acid. I'm quite addicted to benzos for sleep, prescribed nitrazepem, its supposed to be short term use but here I am about 20 years later. But yeah I won't sleep if I don't take it. I really suggest exhausting all options before going to prescriptions. Same with SRRI's and other anti depressants. Once you're on them its extremely hard to get off. What I've discovered is low testosterone symptoms are identical to depression in alot of ways.

So I just did a test / questionnaire for anxiety, and as much as I will deny that I have anxiety, things line up that I have slight anxiety over dumb shit.

So I’m looking for guidance from some of yall that take anxiety meds.

Obviously I’m on TRT & blast cycles so SSRI’s can be bad mixed with gear so I’ve read or heard.
And I’d rather not be a zombie or lose my sex drive.

What else can be taken or used? Maybe a low dose SSRI.
(I also have terrible adhd not medicated)
Loads of people take SSRI’s with gear with no issue.
