Any good All in One Filtration units out there?

Looking for 500 ml 22um. The cheap units off Amazon crack. Everything from Med Lab and GPZ are the Autofil/Foxx units which don't seem to be compatible with my Mityvac.

Supposedly they have some sort of built in vacuum control but I am not sure how that works.

Otherwise I am looking at a Millipore unit with a traditional glass media bottle. However I prefer just disposing of everything once my batch is done.

If you use a hand pump and don't go over 12psi you won't blow the filter, or crack it, on the bottle-top filter sets. Then use the hand pumps for bleeding brake lines. You can find them at auto parts stores ( or online). Just make sure it has a gage on the pump so you can monitor and keep the pressure at 12psi max. Sometimes keeping it simple works best. I always buy an extra bottle-top just in case.

Now that I know that BB can dissolve plastic I only use glass with a bottle top filter.

Yes the filters are plastic but the oil is only in contact with it for a very short period.

Ok. But it's not like you're gonna have the product just sitting in the bottle for hrs. Each to their own, but I'm usually done filtering in minutes then everything gets transferred to glass vials. Syringes are plastic as well...

Yes, exactly. The filter top is plastic but as you note the contact is very brief. Any storage is in glass.

Did I help you or not... why keep me guessing?
You are a fine outstanding gentleman and a scholar. I appreciate your response. :)

Since I made the original post I discovered some literature that confirmed that plastic is dissolved by (if I remember correctly) BB. Since I switched over to glass media bottles. I have also found filters that work perfectly w/ the media bottles and my Mityvac.

I'm glad you have your setup. Good luck.
