ANY married VETs out there i need advice

You either have a prescription which allows everyone to feel ok with the issue, or you are a felon using controlled substances and thus a piece of recalcitrant shit in the public's eye.

What does recalcitrant mean?

No I don't.

Simple as that. It's a statement that can not be proven, thus it's he said she said. I supposed being muscular would make the judge lean her way, but that's what they make big clothes for.

What does recalcitrant mean?

Lexical definition as follows:

recalcitrant

adj 1: marked by stubborn resistance to and defiant of authority or guidance; "a recalcitrant teenager"; "everything revolves around a refractory individual genius" [syn: refractory] 2: marked by stubborn resistance to authority; "the University suspended the most recalcitrant demonstraters"

Source: WordNet 1.6, 1997 Princeton University

In this case, knowing full well and good (hard to prove ignorance with such media attention) that steroids are illegal, you used them anyway.

Hmmm, this raises an interesting point - heresay. A friend of mine currently has copies of prescriptions on hand for gear and his defense team was told in court that the written prescription from the pharmacy meant nothing, that it was 'hearsay', and that the pharmacy would have to testify that the prescription is valid. Now thats a bit difficult since the pharmacy is on the other side of the country....but would not be an issue if you had a local doctor and for that matter, the prescription of a local doctor would probably not be subject to the scrutiny that these out of state prescriptions are. Of course, with a well-funded defense, even a pharmacy out of state would not be a problem as you might pay their expenses to have a representative attend....but a poor kid with little cash does not have that luxury.

Getting to my point, he said/she said was all it took to cause my friend this grief to begin with. Now, even having paperwork in hand, he's still in a bad situation ...based on he said/she said, though not in the same context of this discussion. Given the foregoing, the he said/she said could very well land you a urinalysis if you had prior legal trouble (ie on probation) and could very well cause your house to be searched even if you did not have prior legal trouble (wife knows what is in the house and is willing to testify against you since she blurted it out) ....I mean, at par value, it may seem that he said/she said is overlooked by the legal system but from what I have observed, it is not.

I'm not going to say that it couldn't pose a problem. I will point out, however, that a lot of the problems can be prevented. Keep you shit somewhere else after the day you go to court and for a month after if she says something.

If you're that worried about her flapping lips, then come off for a while until it's all decided. I don't know if they can "drop" you(drug test) on the word of some slut, so this may not even be necessary.

All in all, it can bite you in the ass, I suppose, if you tell her. But, really, which 35 y/o man wants his two 5 year old kids to live at his house anyway? I know my opinions might change if I have some, but, to me, kids are a way to get the woman to shut the fuck up about having them. I don't want to keep them, so she can.

bring her into the bathroom or whear ever you shoot yourself at, make sure you have the bigest needle they make, show her how you suck the juice up and them jam that pin so fucking hard in you chest and show her that it is no problem, then take her to the gym and show her how you work out! for a hour, after that have sex with her, now tell her you do that everyday day in and day out! at that there is no problem yet, bu tif you keep looking at me like that there will be a big problem, kidding bro, like many have said you need to educate her the proper way, then tell her! i told mine i was only doing pills until she caught me with the pin in my ass, she screamed so loud it scared the shit out of me and the pin i jamed it all the way in,

thanks hogg. I was hoping someone would hit this subject. You hope your marriage lasts but if it doesnt than shit can hit the fan and with how the public feels about AAS you will get screwed. Keep it to yourself or quit using

Now apply that to a custody battle...you lose. Hell, it would probably affect an alimony hearing as well......you immediately become the anti-christ in the courtroom....there is no such thing as educating the masses for sake of changing their viewpoint. You either have a prescription which allows everyone to feel ok with the issue, or you are a felon using controlled substances and thus a piece of recalcitrant shit in the public's eye. There are no two ways about it......your chick can even compliment on how well you look, say it doesnt bother her, etc, but if the gloves come off and it is no longer 'til death do us part', you can rest assured that the issue can and will come back to haunt you.

Now on the other hand, take a guy like me for example, Ms. Hogg knows of my past steroid usage and we are getting married regardless. God help me if I am wrong about her character but I doubt we would ever get divorced (enter sucker here). If we did happen to get divorced at some point following marriage, if she was really pissed at me, she'd probably throw it out there.

"IF" I went back on without a doctor's prescription, you can rest assured that I would not tell her. She doesnt need to know....as fucked as that sounds. She knows enough about wellness clinics and the like so with a prescription, no problem....now mind you, its the same thing, I probably would never use more than HRT dosages now anyway, but the legality of my usage is critical if we ever walk into opposite sides of a courtroom.

Hedge your position brothers......you always have to hedge.

Even if you are sure that the marriage will last, I don't see any need to tell her. Are you going to tell her every time you place an order? So she can worry and fret for the whole two weeks until it arrives? I think that allot of unnecessary worry and trouble are caused by too much honesty. You don't need to tell the Ms. all. Do you plan to tell the Ms. about every sexual experience you have had? Trust me, you will only cause allot of unnecessary worry.

Plus, even if now you really think that the marriage will last, you really can't be sure. Then Hoggs argument comes into play. And I doubt that the charge of controlled drug usage will be easily forgotten when you say, "no I havent used steroids" while you sit there in your big suite.
