buffalo and elk are some of my favorite meats.. moose is excellent but hard for me to get.. That all have a different quality taste...Rarley do I ever eat beef ...bison is what I eat most as the flavor of a rare bison steak is what I prefer over anything

There isn't anything better than farm raised bison. Its like beef but better. I have a freezer full of elk and deer meat. Never had moose or ostrich. Tried bear once but that is some greasy ass meat. Never again.

+ 1 for buffalo. There is a buffalo farm not far from me. Stop in every so often and get some steak/ground and some jerky.

I'm originally from louisiana and me and my pops always had a deep freezer full of deer, rabbit, turkey and wild hog. Along with lots of catfish, crappie, brim, and bass. I've lived in South Florida for the last 4 years and it sucks not having access to all the wild game. I still catch some good saltwater fish, but I wouldn't eat any freshwater fish from here.

I used to work with a guy from Louisiana and he would eat everything you listed in addition to coon, possum and anything else that he would come across. He said it was all good as long as you didnt puncture the scent gland.

Nuts! I think kangaroo is my limit o_O

Never had ostrich, though it is an excellent choice of protein from what I have read up on it.

I do love me some dear though.

I went with some bison, moose, and elk . I pussyed out on the ostrich, then the guy was trying to sell me some rattle snake , no thxs. It may taste alright but I'm not a very adventurous eater. Hell I only tried sushi 3yrs ago
