As the question says, i am diabetic and im tryna increase sensitivity, i feel like the gh fucking me up the tips of my toes feel painful and sharp and my piss sessions have increased, ive dropped the gh and are now tryna find stuff to increase insulin sensitivty, i only take 2.5mg of reta rn since september

Reta/Tirz, walking after meal/first thing in the morning. Berberine/Metformin after meals. Taking Jardiance with GH shot.

Tirzepatide really fixed my glucose numbers and HBa1c. I was taking metformin/berberine at that time also. For the last decade, I've been floating in prediabetes (definitely), and every once in a while, I'd hit the clinical definition of diabetes.

I ended up in the hospital (for pneumonia), told them the meds I was taking, and they did all sorts of bloodwork. Once I was released, and we talked, they wanted me to stop with the metformin. The reason was they said (I have the report also) was my A1C number was 4.9. They switched me to Jardiance to get the fluids out.

I still take metformin/berberine just in case I have an extra meal, or eat some foods I know I shouldn't in excess.
Thanks for the advice! In my recent blood tests my HBa1c levels were good but I still felt the sides of high insulin sens will definitely implement some of these measures tho

what about your diet, exercise, activity levels, sleep, stress and drug(supplement/stimulant intake?

theres more to insulin sensitivity than drugs....
Most are as good as i can control them i sleep 10 hours, exercise 4 days a week, i get on average 8k steps a day and my diet is okay

Why only 2.5?

What dose gh was being taken?

What percent body fat ?

I have dropped five percent body fat in the past ten years , and body sugar levels are better and am healthier, I've also gained more muscle since then, maybe ten lbs, maybe seven lbs. Back then I didn't use gh and hormone overall mgs have in increased quite a lot

The reta supposed to be the bomb so this would help a lot . I take ala when I decide to go higher in carbs and paying attention to fats, and total calories

Are you using insulin ?

If no script, novolin r , otc, can be used on a high carb day to relieve the oanceras of working hard, giving it a break

I would get skin tags on my neck with glucose levels too high over time, and not anymore. Also foot circulation would suffer

yeah tbh those 2 have really popped up for me recently ever since i took the gh seems like my sugar was completely fucked tip of the toes hurt like hell and random skin tags popping outta nowhere, will be the last time ill be touching that stuff for the foreseeable future.

I got my fasting blood glucose down from 6 to 4.4 on 2iu of HGH with the following:

500mg Metformin SR morning and night
10iu Lantus 5am
2iu HGH 5am

There is also imegelin which you can run with Metformin.

I'm still debating whether I keep the HGH in or not. The Lantus also reduced my post prandial glucose by a bit.

I think berberine is largely ineffective otherwise it would have been made into a drug (Metformin is from natural origin also).

I mean, it sounds like fixing the diet is first, then or and - lower GH or get an IGF reading and Zscore so you’re sure you’re using the right amount of GH without unnecessary sides.
You may not even have enough estrogen available to take full advantage of the GH…

Take a break from HGH until you get it under control. Then you can bring it back in. For me the HGH timing was the biggest factor. When I was taking it 2-3 hours pre workout and having carbs during and after the workout as long as I was cutting I was okay but if I had a cheat meal I would notice my blood glucose skyrocket. To quickly bring it down you can workout or exercise on elliptical etc. or use insulin. But I would avoid insulin for now as it can make you more insulin resistant over time. What worked for me was to take HGH two hours after a man before bed. Since that switch I never have insulin issues even at 8iu HGH. I've been on tirzepatide this whole time so that didn't help a whole lot.
