Any tangible advantage to whole food protein over protein powder?

I don't mean in health benifits, but are there those out there who conciously went from powders to whole foods and noticed a SIGNIFICANT difference in gains?

Thanks...

If the protein powder is good there will be no difference between it and whole foods except the micronutrients found in the food. Satiety will also be better with whole foods.

I always try to get my daily intake by eating as much whole foods as possible. Shakes are to supplement only imo. Food also tastes better!!!

My reasoning is that I keep coming back to the suspicion that I am allergic to dairy and that I generally lean on protein shakes too much due to time constraints.

I'm thinking about trying a rice protein and upping my food sources of protein.

Or try an isolate if you're using a concentrate.
