anybody here happy w/ their trt

I am very happy with my TRT. Nearly all of the physical symptoms I had before are gone (tired, lethargic, no interest in sex, etc). I'm making gains in the gym again, and fat loss seems a little easier. In addition, the emotional aspect has changed as well. My outlook is much more positive, I am attempting challenges at work and in my personal life I would never had tried before. I have more patience and feelings of tenderness for my kids. I am a better father, a better husband, and a better employee. I am reducing the dosages of my antidepressants with no ill effects so far, with a goal to get to zero or a close as possible. My blood sugar has come down from one point below "pre-diabetic" to within the normal range. I'm on 100mg test cyp per week along with 250IU hcg 2x per week, as per Swale's protocol (Swale is my TRT doc).

The only negative effect has been increased water retention, which I have been controlling with OTC diuretics, and now, I have added DIM to the mix. My PCP says the water retention is nothing to worry about, no heart problems, etc. He feels that as I continue to lose fat, my water retention will all but go away, as the body's fluid flow will improve. I store a lot lot of fat inside body (visceral fat, I think it's called).

I've had two problems with my hrt. The first is some water retention--so what are the otc solutions? The second was resolved when my wife started her hrt. :D

did a short review on the topic of bloating and hrt last night. It seems that bloating is the number one reason women quit hrt. I do use caffeine and it is a dieuretic. I'm not interested in pushing the caffeine thing any more than I do.

I am 60. I do 50mg Test Cyp every 3.5 days plus 25mg Clomid daily. I have no problems at all. My weight is unchanged, but I have lost some fat. No water retention problem. Everything is just great!

What is the purpose of the daily dose of Clomid? I don't know much about ancillary drugs.

The Clomid is a substitute for hcg which I cannot get.
You can't get it because your doctor will not prescribe it to you?

I suspect that your testosterone levels are well above normal with the addition of Clomid.

If you are going to keep using the Clomid (I'm not saying you should) then you might want to back off of the testosterone dosage a bit. 50mg every 5 days would be more appropriate than 50mg twice/week.

is anybody here having all positive results on trt. meaning no problems at all.
I drink a lot of water (all the health nuts say I should). With all of this water, I have to get up 1-2 times/night to pee. Peeing at night is a pain in the ass with the nocturnal erections. I also have a hard time peeing sometimes (it is slow), I guess because of an enlarged prostate. It is usually worse at night. It has always been a problem, but I think it is worse now.

Other than that, I don't have any problems. Some people might dislike the injections, but I look forward to them. Much more fun than Androgel.

i have been doing 250 mgs hcg evey 5 days and 20 mgs of nolva for 2 weeks now,,,gonna stop hcg up nolva to 40 mgs then taper down 20 then 10 mgs nolva..get a retest of levels if still low then trt.....i am doing the hcg so far with success my balls were not quite normal size since stopping AAS last june.
my only problem as i have stated it hcg/test make my face red.

I have the same problem since I started taking all of these supplements. If I have to wait until about 9pm or later to take them, I will have to get up around 3am or so. I don't get nocturnal erections so that is not a problem.

My results have been outstanding so far (I've only been on HRT since the 13th). Before I had difficulty with lathargy, fatigue, ED, strength, etc. Now I seem to be slowly creeping back up to my old self (with the exception of energy... I'm lit, all the time now).

I'm on 150mg Test Cyp every 10 days... which will change once my doc gets his first test out of the way. Then I'll go to 100mg Test Cyp every 7 days, he will not know, of course... which will be odd timing my blood tests.

I'm keeping a log that I'll post a link to at a later date.

Couldn't ask for more from my TRT.

Current program is:

125mg Enanthate E5D
125IU HCG with 12.5mg Proviron EOD (taken together before bed).

HCG protocol you are on is similar to the one Dr Shippen goes by, right ?

It is to bad ( for the patient ) neither one of them, Dr Shippen nor Dr Crisler seem
to agree on the time of the day HCG is administered.

I don't have either product in front of me so forgive me for being so vague. I get both of them at Eckerd. The first is a little green softgel diuretic that contains Pamabron (sp?) but no caffiene. The second is a fat loss thing called Mega Green Tea or something like that. It contains an herb called bladderwrack (lol). It contains a minimal amount of caffiene, maybe 50mg or so. Both of them together seem to help.

I've been on the hcg for around 2 months. Seems to be working. I'm 39, btw.

LOL!! :D This poor man has too many erections! I'm sure some of the bros here might have trouble feeling sorry for you! :D Which, incidently, reminds me of the line from the movie Kate and Leopold, "Behold, my great erection!" :D

I used Swale's program as a starting point then modified things as I needed to. I've gradually changed one thing at a time and this is where I currently am, and I can't complain.

The reason I'm taking it before bed is that HCG makes me greasy and gives me acne. I figure that if i take it before bed then the worst of it will happen when I'm in a cool, non-sweaty environment so it won't be so bad. That's also why I take the proviron at the same time, to combat the estrogen spike. That's my logic anyway, could be flawed, I just work on trial and error and when something works I stick to it.

Anyway, it seems to be working and my skin is completely clear now and not greasy.
