Been lurking the past few months, but I’m in pharmacy school. The pharmacy I work for and most in general require you to have a script. Mainly to stop heroin and meth addicts. The only instances I’ve seen them sell to people without a script is if they know the person personally or they have insulin/vitamin B12/TRT etc with them that they get from another store.

^^^That really varies state to state ^^^ quite a few states have needle/syringe programs where you can buy from pharmacies for a few cents and the state covers the remainder.

MOST states do not require a script by law but it is at the discretion of the pharmacist. For those that are still having issues -> allegromedical(DOT)com its cheaper and you can get a sharps container. DONT THROW YOUR NEEDLES IN THE TRASH. Sharps drop off location dont need to know why you have syringes, HIPAA protects you (US only).

Ironic, isn't it? Some states, much like the one i live in, do the same thing. So, rather than the state making needles easier to get, they're leaving junkies with little choice but to reuse needles. Like they're just gonna sober up and quit if they can't find fresh needles?

These junkies then contract HIV or hepatitis, get hospital treatment that they will NEVER pay a dime for and the state is left holding the bag in the end.

^^^Yep then mayors, judges, city council members, city/state officials contract hiv via the prostitute they were poking last Friday night. See it comes full circle, access to clean needles=clean non hiv positive governor, congressman, mayor, etc, etc. Just a win win all the way around.

That healthykin site was amazing btw, I ended up using them after another site screwed me and they shipped to my door by the next day. Kinda crazy how fast it was actually.

This other site, westend medical supplies actually tried to screw me on shipping. I paid $33 for next day and they tried to give me priority shipping which was $10. Ended up cancelling the order. I'd avoid them like the plague

Glad to hear you had a good experience with HK.
Unless something there changes drastically, they'll be my go to for all my syringes.

Never heard of Westend Medical, but yeah, that would have been a deal breaker for me too.

Had a little mishap today, dropped my needles in the toilet bowl. They are in wrappers but idk I'm not risking getting toilet water in my body. I already ordered some online but tried to get some locally and found out most places won't sell you them without a prescription. Yet people wonder why people sharing needles is such a problem... Anyway, any places you guys know I might be able to snag some without a prescription? Or maybe something I can say to the pharmacist to get them to give me a few?

Lol back when I used to IV meth/heroin I shot up with water from the back of the toilet in public restrooms, etc I’m okay

That being said I used to always hit up Walgreens in nice suburban parts of town. If you go in the inner city they usually assume you’re doing dope/give a shit. Also I knew of certain places that would ask for prescription if you tried to buy a bag of 10 but wouldn’t if you bought a box of 50.

If going to a fancier part of town doesn’t work, sometimes I’d play a game where I’d call in advance and make up a scenario in which my grandmother was in from out of town from out of state and used an out of state pharmacy, and I was driving home from work and she was in some sort of diabetic emergency in which I needed to come grab the points on my way quick instead of making a trip to get her prescription bottle and back. That worked a couple times but honestly I never had much trouble. It was usually I’d hit one place and if I’d get turned down the next try would work. But I’m in Texas so.

Im just gunna ride along in this topic for my question....

Im going to Texas on thursday for 2.5 weeks and was gunna mail myself clothes cause Im flying basic economy (can only bring carryon). So I was gunna stuff a vial in with the clothes but Im not sure how easy it will be to get pins in a conservative area such as Fort Worth.
Should I just prefill a cpl pins and mail them or vial and try to get pins there?

Texas no restriction on needle purchase. Everytime I travel there I just go to pharmacy and buy them like 25cent each. sizes are always different so you may have to go different one.

I actually did read that they dont have pin restrictions but I also read on another message board that it was up to phamacist or store policy to sell without a script, and can be a lil bit of a task to find one to sell.

Im actually going to be stayin in south burbs so Im sure there are tractor/farm supply places all over the place around there.
