Never tried bis tris. Seems like it would be tough to keep steady and miss veins.

I lay my arm across my stomach to get a peak, then pin about 2-3 inches above the nipple right on the mountain.
You should not be flexing, just building a pool of muscle. Slin pins are a must and you can use a 1/2 or 5/8 inch.
Hurts the first time, but now it's my second favorite site behind delts.
Quads have been a little touchy for some reason. I will make it back to glutes this next cycle.

Reading your posts, reminded me of 10? 12? years ago, around there. I had prop from ip and was running out of spots to inject, so I tried my chest. 23gauge 1 1/2", I didn't put it all the way in but theres something about watching the needle go in. its spooky. To make things worse, it irritated my muscle and it looked like I had a breast implant. lol my girl at the time was laughing for weeks, crazy memories,,,,

I never pin the muscle I am working out that day unless you pin after.
For me I get more pip that way.
So If I am lifting chest I pin quads or glutes.
Just my style though.
