Ashwaganda for Tachycardia

Hi to all,

recently, I'm having serious problems during the night: as soon as I go to bed, I'm able to sleep for about 2 hours, then I wake up and I can't fall asleep again till the morning. When this happens, I feel that my heart rate increases. Even if my blood pressure is almost fine (125-78), my heart rate is about 90-95, sometimes even around 100.

Probably, it is mental stress since I had my heart visited two months ago and the doctor said me that everything was fine (I hadn't these episodes two months ago, btw).

I was thinking to take ashwaganda to see if anything changes. Do you think it is a good idea? How much should I take?

I'm not taking any kind of weird steroids, I'm just taking 250 mg/ml Testo E per week as usual.

LOL classic. Had EXACTLY the same problems. I can almost 99.9% promise you it's all in your head. I mean they are real symptoms and issues you're having but it's your mind manifesting them.

FYI you're not in tachycardia until your resting heart rate is over 100 while sitting still. But like you I would wake up at almost on the dot 2-3 am and not really be able to fall back asleep.

Stress is a mother fucker. I never knew how bad it was untill recently as I never stressed about anything.

Eventually you'll calm down and start getting good sleep again. For me it was palpitations. I still get them sometimes but realized they aren't dangerous or anything to be worried about. But the stress made them much more frequent. Now only once in a while.

All the above is only true if youve been seen by a cardiologist.

I agree with Guy, although I do supplement with various over the counter supplements occasionally. I've tried Ashwaganda and it doesn't really do anything for me. Not that I noticed, anyway. I do like L-Theanine and Magnesium (different supplements) and I do notice that I don't get as stressed when I use them. Could be in my head, could be because of them, I dunno.

L theanine and cialis has been working for me.

Ashawagandha is really amazing, u guys don't know what u talking about.

Real KSM-66 has so many benefits and studies u can read on the web about.

It is in my health supps regimen since maybe 6/7 years and I will never remove it, I love it!

I will say ashawaganda is the only herbal supplement I've ever felt after taking. First time I took it, and it was ksm66 which is really important and I never felt more sedated and calm lol.

Can you post brand?

Any KSM-66 will be good, just make sure is KSM-66 so check supplement facts before buying.

I attached nutricost as an example but there are many other brands.
What dose is best that worked for you? Dose of active KSM that is…

Sedated and calm? How about feeling dull?

What is typically used for?

Agreed it is induced by stress, experienced it myself.

The following about an hour before sleep makes a great difference for me
-magnesium biglycinate (not oxide or citrate) or magnesium l- theronate which is expensive but the best for neruro effects
-glycine
-of course, ashwaganda
-L-methionine
-deep breathing for a few minutes makes a huge difference - look up neuroscientist Andrew Huberman on YouTube

There are multitudes of benefits for all of the above

Thank you, guys! Yep, i'm pretty sure it is stress since I work a lot every day and my clients are all crazy so this gives me lot of stress almost everytime.

I'll try Ashwaganda and see if this can help me to calm down a little bit before bed.

Take a beta blocker and supplement. You're on an anabolic, so it's a smart move even if you didn't have a racing HR.

What other compounds are you taking and what is the timing?

I'm just taking testo.
I would like to add 30mg oxandrolone ed, but I was waiting to solve this HR problem.

Which beta blocker can you suggest?

No other prescriptions or anything? Caffeine before workouts? Because it's a lot easier to remove stuff than to add things in, usually.

A lot of people have success with propranolol, and some people report a bit of fatigue with it, which might assist sleep. Because beta blockers can block melatonin production, there are some that are less likely to contribute to sleeping problems, like atenolol. Nebivolol is a favorite of bodybuilders because it has been associated with fat loss in some circumstances.

But most people take them with very minimal side effects, so these are all questions on the very outer margin. The way I would choose -- look at my insurance and see what's cheapest. If you're buying from a UGL, I'd pick the same way among tested sources.

EDIT - forgot to add: if this is only an issue at night, you're in luck because the normal, immediate release versions are all cheaper than the ones that last all day.

I mainly use 500/600mg to 1000/1200mg before sleep to have a better rest and crazy vivid dreams, try it!

If u want some sort of calm effect u can use it as well in the AM.
Nootropics depot has 300 mg but 12% withanolds, is that too much?
