Totally open to the increased standard. I believe someone here asked for metals testing. We sent off product to do this testing. Jano lost the sample. The member was then suspended or banned after being ridiculed for badgering sources for this testing.
We also asked this member why they don't do this testing themselves also if they're so interested in it? We will cover all costs and it will also look better going from them.
If there's more demand for it though, we will do whatever testing people want. That's why we started including guaiacol testing in the tests.
So far, the member who requested that testing got banned and then avoided the question when asked why they don't send off some product themselves?

I’m all for increased testing, but when was a source’s gear exposed for having heavy metals? I’ve been around a minute and don’t remember a single instance where this was the case. (Obviously I haven’t read every post and have never ordered gear from this source for what it’s worth.)
It wasn't. I think some member just wants it and has asked many sources for it. Other members don't seem to want it / care for it. It would be a novel thing. We even initially sent off a sample to do it. It took forever to get to Jano and then the sample was lost. The member was banned for bothering sources right around this time I believe. We didn't bother re-sending after that but did say we will fully cover all costs if they send something off themselves. Obviously, they did not do this.
