That's interesting. I've zero knowledge of the chemistry involved that would make that one vial special, but interesting observation. Curious to see a photo of the vials side by side.

My initial thought is that since it was in the center of the hot pad and the others were surrounding it, i am assuming it was hotter in the center.

I could experiment by cooking another one in the center? But im not sure if it getting darker means im ruining it.

not that the others that are crashed are any good, although im told its good to use once melted.

I suspect you're right about why one is darker than others being at the centre of the plate. My cup warmer has hot spots too.

However, my curiosity is not about why one is darker, but why the dark one no longer re-crashes, whilst the others do.

It would need a brewer to explain. I can only pull answers out of my ass.

I just received my order from Axle and it took 2 complete days. I ordered Wednesday and I got it today (Saturday). I looked at my account dashboard and realized, this is my 10th order, since creating an account and I probably had 4 or 5 more before I created one. I have ordered from 12 websites across meso and SST.

Axle is the only source that is always stress free, fast, never sent me a vial with floaters, moisture, under-dosed garbage, and has never had missing or incorrect item.

The only thing that could ruin this source is if the gear was bad but the confidence with which Axle tells people to get it tested, eases my anxiety a little. 5 stars ️️️️️ again!

+ 1. Over 2 years dealing with him and zero issues with any of the above. Shop being closed down/things out of stock currently is the only negative experience thus far.

Axle’s packaging is objectively bad. My two orders with him arrived wrapped in a likely partially used piece of Bible wrap and some crumpled up paper? It’s like he hired unemployed Indian street food vendors to do it.

My last order was in a sealed plastic bag but not vacuum sealed. So when you shake the box you could hear the vials clanking around. I was so afraid they would be broken. I swear they used to come vacuum sealed. Anyway nothing was broken and I’m happy.
